Hmm...very interesting.
Minor detail:
I, for one, don't understand the "loss of smell and taste"
crap. Who the heck has ever had the ordinary seasonal flu
without that happening?

You literally can smell nothing, I tried so many things. Pepper, garlic, essential oil, coffee, candle. It is just gone. I just don’t understand it. I started with what I thought was a regular sinus infection then the loss of smell, nausea and now headache. It has been 7 days since I first got sick. I could always kick a sinus infection with my sinus wash but it is evolving differently. Now my head feels heavy but next to no drainage. My desire to eat is way decreased as well, I am guessing no sense of smell or taste is making that happen.
