You should understand that you are incapable of saving yourself from death at the very least. Also here's Psalms 51. Because it seems pertinent. Yes, the entire thing you dumby. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar. |

Quoting: Nashon I can't argue against what you have said. I had this saved from a while ago and thought I would share. I still believe Sunday Laws play into the whole thing. ..... The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, speaks about the Family of only one true Father God and His only begotten and obedient Son. The Bible never speaks about one triune God consisting of three co-equal Gods of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as taught in the false doctrine of the Trinity. Many times, the Bible says that the Son sits at His Father’s right hand, but nowhere does it say that the Holy Spirit sits next to the Father, or the Son, because there is no Trinitarian third Person of God in heaven or on earth. The terms, ‘the Spirit of God’ and ‘the Holy Spirit’, occur approximately 120 times in the Bible. These terms, depending on their context, refer to the Presence and Power of Father God or to Father God Himself, who is Holy and Spirit. In most cases when the Bible speaks about the Spirit of God or the Holy Spirit, it is referring to the Presence and Power of Father God, which emanates from the Spirit Person of Father God seated on His throne in heaven. For example, in Luke 1:35, “And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest (Father God) will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.” Here ‘the Holy Spirit’ clearly refers to the Presence and Power of Father God who is indeed the Highest. There are only a few scriptures where the term ‘the Holy Spirit’ refers to the Person of Father God Himself. For example, in Matthew 1:18, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit”, where ‘the Holy Spirit’ refers to the Person of Father God Himself, who is Holy and Spirit. Jesus Christ is indeed the child of His Father God, the one true Eternal God, who is a separate Being and always greater than His only begotten Son. We know that Trinitarians have their own set of scriptures which they use to try to justify their belief in the Trinity. Let us now closely examine the top ten key scriptural texts that Trinitarians use to support the Trinity and prove to you that these scriptures have been mistranslated, or misinterpreted, or corrupted, or even shamefully inserted into the Word of God, to support this false doctrine. Text 1 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. Do you know that this verse is a fraud? It is not in any of the early Greek Manuscripts of the Bible dated before the 10th century, as confirmed by all Bible scholars. 1 John 5:7 was shamefully inserted into Translations of the Bible, first into the Roman Catholic Latin Vulgate, and then subsequently into the KJV and other popular versions of the Bible to support the false doctrine of the Trinity. Text 2 Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. This verse, although found in Greek Manuscripts of the Bible, is still a corrupt verse, corrupted under the influence of the Roman Catholic Church. Matthew 28:19, as translated in most versions of the Bible, contradicts the clear teaching of the Bible that baptising should always be done in the name of the Son only. The Apostles never baptised converts in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, but always solely baptised them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, as in Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, and 19:5. There is not one single example in the whole of the Bible where people were baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The amazing fact is that the Roman Catholic Church itself admits that it changed the baptismal formula in the second century. Consider the following quotes: The Catholic Encyclopedia II (Page 263) “The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century.” What are the facts? |

I don't believe that anymore. It's all about Christ in us. Isaiah 30:1 Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: Hosea 4:12 My people consult their wooden idols, and their divining rods inform them. For a spirit of prostitution leads them astray and they have played the harlot against their God. 2 Thess 2:4 The man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. Ephesians 2:2 "in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient." 1 Cor 3:16 Do you not know that you yourselves are God’s temple, and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Christ is the Spirit. We are the Temple. The Antichrist is actually the devil, and "Christians" who exalt "the third person of the trinity" or anyone other than Christ in their heart are actually of the Antichrist and have the Spirit of the Antichrist in them. Joel 2:28 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 1 John 4:3 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. I only know that honouring the Sabbath, which is of course Saturday, which of course is also Jesus Christ, Christ being our Sabbath or eternal rest. The Sabbath was made for man, and not man made for Sabbath. What are the facts? |

Quoting: Anglo Elder Ephesians 1:20-21 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Leviticus 24:16 Anyone who blasphemes the Name of the LORD must be stoned to death by the whole community of Israel. Any native-born Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the Name of the LORD must be put to death. Matt 12:31-32 31Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come. I'm not sure I was ever aware of there being a distinction in the Trinitarian belief of the Holy Spirit being seperate from God in any way shape or form. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78981486 Thank you. Would it be wrong however to thank God for the Holy Spirit? It is still His, after all. I personally don't see anything wrong with thanking God for his presence and his son Christ which lives within us. I wouldn't pray to the "holy spirit" or any saints, icons, or anything like that.
