Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79642338 Presidents usually pardon a number of people between first and second terms, as well, so no to both questions. This now frees up Sidney Powell to prosecute the F*CK out of the Dominion Fraud issues.... ExxxxxxxCeeeeellllent...! |

User ID: 79626352 United States 11/25/2020 04:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | wait, does this mean Flynn was sentenced? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79626352 did the govt allow the prosecutors to finally drop their bogus case? from: Washington Post dotcom/outlook/five-myths/five-myths-about-presidential-pardons/2018/06/06/18447f84-69ba-11e8-bf8c-f9ed2e672adf_story.html Myth No. 1 You must be charged and convicted before you can be pardoned. Social media discussions about Trump and his pardons are rife with errors, with hundreds of commenters believing that only people convicted of a crime can be pardoned. “Must go to trial & *be convicted* before pardon can be offered,” reads one such tweet. Another taunts, “ @realDonaldTrump hey dummy, you have to be CONVICTED OF A CRIME before you can pardon...yourself.” After all, some state governors are limited in this way. Presidents are not. Most pardons are funneled to the president through the Justice Department’s Office of the Pardon Attorney, which considers applications only from people who have already served their sentences. But presidents can, and do, bypass that process. In Ex parte Garland , the Supreme Court settled the question of preemptive pardons. The justices in that 1866 case decided that while pardons could reach only past acts, the pardon “may be exercised at any time after [the act’s] commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency or after conviction and judgment.” Even before Garland, President Abraham Lincoln (among others) pardoned dozens of people — including alleged traitors — preemptively. More recently, President Jimmy Carter pardoned hundreds of thousands of Vietnam draft evaders, including those who had not been charged or convicted. And, most famously, President Gerald Ford pardoned President Richard Nixon, who had not yet been charged with anything. |

Check anywhere, I'm sure it is out there now everywhere. I was talking about all other media had not released this info yet, Only justthenews. But now there is this. All good. I have some sources and occasionally get news before it hits, I try to verify everything though before I post which is why I was even a bit slow on this. I knew about 20-30 mins before it even appeared on JTN. I only used that link because it was one of the first published/updated. HM238 |
