If it goes after the 14th. and the electors don't vote it goes to the congress.
The left knows this so they are currently doing back ground checks on the electors to see if there is something to use for black mail. Trump knows this so they are contacting the electors to let them know they will be protected.

Given the current heads of the DOJ and the FBI this prediction is quixotic.
