We'd run out of missiles and ammo. That is the point of this type of armada.

Kind of a strange thread.

One thought occurs, The Israelis (or the Americans), would attack with fighter jets, not boats.

So what are all those little boats for?

As an old boater, I would scatter a bunch of plastic ice bags in front of those little boats. The ice bags suck up onto the propeller and clog the water intakes. Probably disable a bunch of them without firing a shot. :)


Our naval ships are fairly thin skinned though.
I would love to see them resurrect a couple Iowa class battleships, powered by nuke reactors and bristling with missiles, a high powered laser, a rail gun, a 3 cannon turret (automated), and a small waist area to launch and recover F-35s. The F-35s takeoff, designate targets and the battleship launches ordinance directed by the F-35s.

I would also like to see if that could be made into a stealthy version, using modern RAM materials, even if temporarily rigged as tarps or something along the sides.

Probably all obsolete anyway. The new Space force probably has a golden gun in orbit. Lasers from space. :)
