Quoting: RuneMistress In the body itself there are just typos which is apparently normal for legal documents and courts dont care. The other reason is that the media has already pointed out the typos so it could have been a tactic for media attention. Yes, I agree with this theory. If using Occam’s razor, the fewer leaps we have to make in figuring out why, the more likely the scenario. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ wisdom^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |

Case in point...friend of mine was a paralegal and was fixin' to quit her job working for a serious dick head attorney. She prepped an important filing and purposefully substituted word public with pubic (one missing letter makes a huge difference here). She LOL at him when he got around to callin' her to scream over the phone at her last dig she pulled on him. I'm sure the client thought it was hysterically funny too. But I've seen it before, like the artful dodge so-to-speak. Don't know how that would work but then again I never grasped half of some of the language used in legalese. Or the legal people say it looks sloppy.. Or doesnt accept it because of typos... Couldnt they argue the election was sloppy? Argue that typos on voting machines should disbarr the election from being accepted or warranting a vote check or spell check of the machines etc... Ths art of law.. They craft legal arguements thats how it works. Very very clever. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 74827762 United States 11/26/2020 10:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Another thought could be that the typo is intentional to make more people comment on the document. Retweet it and then getting more people to look at the thing that would not have looked at it. Quoting: LunaticCC Someone referred to this as somehow from the President, but it isn't. It's from Sydney Powell and her group. Although she is likely coordinating with Trump and his staffers. Regardless, President Trump did say that he purposefully misspells words or mis-names people or things in order to get more attention. Until I heard him admit that, I thought the speculation that he was just bad at spelling (or had sort of a visual version of dyslexia) was the real cause. But now I know better. |

Couldn't be anything else. This was a 104 page document typed up under excruciating short time frame. Usually a suit of this type would be researched over an entire year and written over weeks and months. We're barely 3 weeks out from the election and all the investigation, strategy and writing had to be done in 1/10th the usual time frame. Hence the typos. Cut them a break. |
