Calvin Coolidge Huge Mandela Effect--need your help!! | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79662793 United States 11/29/2020 12:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: humbird My question was whether anyone else remembered it differently. What's your problem with that question? Thanks for one starring my threads. I just asked my wife OP, who is big on Presidential history, etc. (she is currently hip-deep in a biography about John Wilkes Booth), I just asked her "hey, what do you know about Calvin Coolidge hon?" She replied "he was known as the bachelor President." "Not anymore" says I- "wha?!" she is now trippin' and looking into it. THAT IS WHAT I NEEDED!!!!!!!!!! you have done me a solid, thanks. I am skeptical about a lot of the Mandela Effect stuff (much is due to big media events being repeatedly misrepresented, like the Forrest Gump one or Darth Vader- we remember it as it was repeated misrepresented in pop culture- like skits on Sat. night Live, etc.) But SOME, IMO, are indisputable- Dolly from Moonraker or the 'Berenstain Bears' for example. Shit, in a precious timeline I was a great guy but couldn't complete anything to save my life, friends and family flocked to me for advice and viewed me as amiable and gregarious- but I didn't finish anything I started- NOW, I have multiple college degrees and everyone seems to hate me! I used to be skinny as a rail and had long hair, now, I am 240 of muscle and sport a buzz-cut. I used to go along with others and 'fit-in', now I call everyone on their shit and go against the grain pretty much constantly. Sumpin' has changed...that is fo' shhizzle *previous |

I’ve heard of the Mandela Effect before but never gave it much thought. How is it possible we remember things differently while physically not changing? Quoting: WhateversClever TYIA. Cynthia Sue Larson is a science person who explains this well in her book: [link to www.amazon.com (secure)] She did some videos, and then one watcher contacted her and said he had read her obituary at a certain date, a time in which she had been mortally ill, but recovered. Dale DuFay also explains it this way---some of us, a very few, are experiencing our consciousness shifting into another version of ourselves which lives in another part of the multiverse, and that other part of ourselves has moved on somewhere else. He has a friend who bought a truck (i.e. gray Tacoma) and then one morning it was white, or something, and always had been on this version of Earth. Dale also has a twin who has completely different memories, and does not seem to shift realities. Cynthia Sue Larson says that a huge percentage of MEs (Mandela Effected) are INFJ. I don't have it figured out. I am INFJ. I feel better when I'm not the only one. INFJs are supposed to be the most sensitive and intuitive, correct? I am INTJ, one of those “I need proof before believing” people, but not so close minded I can’t entertain the thoughts and ideas while looking for proof. I listened to a story about a woman who walked away from a car crash and experienced shifts in timeline afterward. Friends that were in the car confirmed the changes as well. Very strange and intriguing stuff. I’ll check out the sources you shared. Ty Ftr: my husband and I went over the common Mandela effects. We both remember Jiffy, Berenstein Bears, the cornucopia in FOTL logo, and the Sinbad genie movie. Don’t remember the hyphen in KitKat. Can’t remember what else. t's not the "Mandela effect." It's real. Sinbad finally admits, yes, he did make a movie called "Shazaam" in the 1980s — he was broke and desperate. And he'll have you killed if you share it. |

This was devastating. The guy was bullied badly by other kids and I immediately thought "what could I have done?!?!" I was away at college so I told my mom to send my condolences. Then, 20 years later, the same guy ... same face, same family, same build, same weirdness that made him so susceptible to bullying ... in my facebook friend requests. I immediately called my sister, who also immediately remembered that the guy killed himself it was horrible ... and she was flabbergasted that he was alive and on facebook. Mom has no recollection of any of it. We both remember him killing himself. I still think ... did I dream it? Did sis and I both mix up someone else? When the shit hits the fan and the end is just nigh, will you cry out to Heaven? Will you lie down and die? Not me, my dear one - THIS IS MY SACRED LIFE - to no one nor no thing I'll surrender. One day I discovered it was not in the position it was when I sketched it, many years ago in junior high school. His clenched fist was now on his forehead, instead of under his chin, as it had been. Almost a year later, the statue changed, again. His hand appeared to be in his mouth. Now, his hand is back under his chin, but straight, not clenched. Rodin would be a witness to this Mandela. As Rodin himself described: "What makes my Thinker think is that he thinks not only with his brain, with his knitted brow, his distended nostrils and compressed lips, but with every muscle of his arms, back, and legs, with his clenched fist and gripping toes." This is particularly scary to someone like me, who prefers logic and truth over emotions and desires. Now, I must face the fact that REALITY is NOT!!!!!!! |

I tried to delete this thread, since no one seemed interested, but it didn't work. Here's another question-- I remember Australia being upside down, where New Zealand was at 10 o'clock offshore, and Tasmania at 12 o'clock. Now Tasmania is at 6 o'clock and NZ at 5 O'clock. Met only one other person with this memory. I know because my sister used to live in Perth, and lots of NZ people visited, because it was a short flight. I spent a month there in the early 90s. Do you remember that? The cool thing is they’ve done a sloppy job and left remnants of the past because it is very difficult to clean up prior to making a mess. Like The Johnny Carson interview on David Letterman’s show when he brought Dave A million dollar PCH Check from Ed McMohn (spelling LOL) Because he was off chasing women lol and couldn’t be there. And yet they try to say we have a bad memory because we think Publishers clearinghouse had Ed as their spokesman.......AND HE WAS ! Update: video proof. Excellent questions. If, as Dale DuFay postulates, only a small percentage are shifting, many of them shift from different places to new timelines, and not all shift as frequently. But imagine that you were from one of the Sag Earths, call it Sag 9 Earth. There, Coolidge was married, but unlike here, Dolly and Berenstein were different. Maybe I was Sagg17, and we both wind up on Orion2020subretard. I think that's the only reasonable explanation, more reasonable than thinking we all suddenly have implanted the wrong memories.
