Each of the Waltons are worth about 20 Billion. This is a drop in the bucket to them. Perhaps they needed some Christmas cash. Walmart still is the biggest grocery chain in the country and their online sales, although not great are moving upwards.

WM is not gonna crash. I wish it were true that they were. WM will be used by the reset as one of the primary vessels in which govt goods will be distributed amongst society. Everyone will have the same care package available for pick up at a greatly increased price. Everyone will have access to forced vaccines. Everyone will be given a control number in which they are allowed to "purchase goods". Everyone will wait in orderly lines and follow the instructions heard from overhead load speakers and personnel stationed at military style checkpoints.
