i know one thing that can happen, is if you are a person who makes videos and has garnered some influence in your audience.
even if you are a perfectly good-intending, upright citizen.
your "sources" might one day give you a lead on some incredible info. this was designed in an office to get you on the hook. they track who watches and shares the video, because they know which storytale to look for.

now the spooks have built an information network of all the people you interact with.

to what end, idk. could be for raw data or something nefarious.

it happens from time to time. people get discredited, or shut down, or bought out.
