Uh, someone posted Gina Haspel's Obituary

The interesting thing is that the Admin KNOWS this rumor is out there - it's become quite public about the firefight in Germany and this alleged injury/death, and yet they've done NOTHING to dispel it.

They don't have to directly dispel it, they could just show her off in public some way to show it's not true. But they haven't.

Which makes me wonder.

I don't trust our Govt AT ALL. I really DO think anything is possible.

If you have seen reports during her confirmation hearing about how evil and inhuman she is/was with extreme torturing of ISIS and other terrorists (note: they are called "freedom fighters" in their country), good riddance to her.

Well there were rumors on the interweb yesterday that she died. The obituary says Dec. 1st, today. So either the interweb is psychic, or this is a hoax!

Who knows if that was really her though, esp if she was wearing a mask? If she were injured in something like the alleged firefight.....they'd cover it up anyway.

Moreover one thing life has taught me is to ALWAYS LISTEN TO RUMORS. Even if they're not true (and they usually ARE at least in part from my experience) you should always pay attention to what people are talking/thinking about.

That there's this kind of distrust in CIA generally & Haspel specifically is noteworthy. One would think she, at least, would want to dispel rumors that smear her "integrity" and "patriotism".

critical thinking involves

a) identifying that somebody is pushing the rumors
b) nobody in power is responding to them, deliberately.

critical thinking is not "passively accepting whatever".

Why would they take that position - that means there's some plausibility there or they would just flat deny.

I think there is something plausible in these rumors even if it's not her actual death - maybe she was directly involved in the actions in Frankfurt, maybe she was injured...there is some reason this rumor was put out there in the first place and is not being put to rest in some manner.

I would put "who benefits? (Cui Bono)" at the top of that list.

It certainly not Ms. Haspel if she is really dead, and I would not think it would benefit her if she were alive, unless its to make her pretend she died so she can take a new identity!

That's been my experience with rumors too, they have a significant element of truth in them. It can range from something like 50% to even 100%. I ALWAYS pay attention to rumors. In one area, for example, lay-offs and company re-organizations, I have found rumors to be nearly 100% accurate - far more than official statements.

That's why Systems hate rumors....because that's how the truth actually gets out.

And yes, when public rumors are met with silence and non-action, that DOES have a meaning. At minimum, they are willing to let the public BELIEVE the rumor so it must serve some purpose to them.

Does natural causes also include lead poisoning as well? At first it was stated she was ordered to stand down and refused to do so. Then she was shot.

My personal bet is that SCOTUS will bail out

Cui bono always IS the gold test, isn't it. Who could benefit in this instance? Not as you say, Haspel as this is a smear on her. Not sure how this would benefit, say Trump, except as a general smear on the CIA, but so many people hate the CIA anyway, I don't think we need to paint them any blacker - they're blacker than the farthest reaches of space, LOL.

Perhaps as our other AC friend has said here, she is being set up for a new identity. Nothing would surprise me any more. Maybe that's the price of informing on the Deep State at that level....you "die" and get a new identity. But they don't want to shock people so they put out the idea....gradually?
