I am retired so this doesn't affect me. However, many of those people who are unemployed could find joback if they wanted to. It is not fair to the working stiffs who c as NY lounge at home working from home or drawing unrmoloyment. The $300 should also go to anyone that is still working but not those working from home.

What about all the home owners that are short on property tax due to Covid stopping their jobs?

I can't believe Republicans are so stupid about this issue. It would be better to do nothing at all, at least don't try to call it a Covid Relief package if it doesn't include a direct stimulus payment to the American people.

Understand, I don't personally care either way but many Americans have been watching and waiting since July. And, it's the politician's own fault. They all but promised it but didn't deliver.

P.R. mistake to pass any bill called "Covid Relief" without including this stimulus.

Going on unemployment 9 months now and life is great. I'm making a little less now that they lowered COVID relief bonus from $600 to $300 but I'm living large.

Don't have to work, have all the time in the world to focus on life goals/me time, am able to do what I want when I want and money isn't an issue. My gf is in the same boat and she's loving life too. She's coming over later tonight and I'll be cooking steak and potatoes. She's bringing red wine.
