I’ve got to decide if I stick with the stock market or jump ship. I’m 62 years old and don’t want to expose myself to too much risk.

Look for the feds quantitative easing program. The economy is propped up on monopoly money. Money printer goes brrrrr.

The fed is doing what the fed always does. Pump the market. Crash it. Then their shareholder banks buy up the businesses, stocks, and properties at a bargain at the bottom of the market. Restart the cycle in another decade.

My portfolio is up over 70% in two years. Stupid growth levels. Wife wont listen and sell.

there are capital preservation funds. I am parked in there..when Trump wins, Im moving half back into fidelity contra..nice 12% returns.

you should get half out to hedge your bets, its for sure going to go down. Im gonna need to work another 20 years so Im gonna let mine sit. Not that I have that much anyhow.

Ive had my IRA in the New American Fund and its been between 12 to 17% for the past 4 years.

I think the only safe stock right now is Apple. Chewy is another possible good stock, it might reach 100 by end of next year as they are currently the fastest growing company in America. Id avoid all others for now.

Brah -- one day in the stock market and you can earn what it would take all year in a banks money market. Seriously. Just stick it in Amazon, Kohls, Walmart, Carnival Cruise lines and forget about it. These stocks will only go up from here during the pandemic. Put in stop losses (limit orders) so you're protected. If you don't know what a stop loss is Yandex it.

I get pretty tangled up trying to figure out the stock market.
