Great informative video by this Doctor . Sad that he has died . I could not see a cause of death .

He had prostate cancer, I don't know if that is what he passed away from.

Ivermectin is Now a Therapeutic Option for Doctors & Prescribers!"

"Jan 14, 2021 – One week after Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory – founding members of the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) – along with Dr. Andrew Hill, researcher and consultant to the World Health Organization (WHO), presented their data before the NIH Treatment Guidelines Panel, the NIH has upgraded their recommendation and now considers Ivermectin an option for use in COVID-19".

Their recommendation has now been upgraded to the same level as those for widely used monoclonal antibodies & convalescent plasma, which is a “neither for nor against” recommendation. The significance of this change is that the NIH has decided to no longer recommend against the use of ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19 by the nation’s health care providers. A consequence of this change is that ivermectin has now been made a clear therapeutic option for patients.

"Dr. Thomas A. Russo, one of the region’s leading experts on infectious diseases, said he was glad to hear that Smentkiewicz is doing better, but he said people should never jump to conclusions about Ivermectin or any other drug based on one patient’s outcome."

“There are some indications that this drug may have some merit in treating Covid-19 ... Yes, it is possible that it helped this woman,” Russo said. “But the trials and testing are ongoing. We don’t have definitive data yet to show it does help. Presently, it is not recommended as a treatment for Covid-19.”

What a load of doublespeak, he is, in essence, and in my opinion, saying, I am glad it saved this woman's life but others may still need to die while we ignore the mountain of existing evidence and continue to demand more, while in the meantime we have readily accepted options with far less proof and safety testing ."

The above-quoted article goes on to say,

"On Jan. 2, Smentkiewicz was given her first dose of Ivermectin, and according to court papers filed by her family, she made “a complete turnaround.”

“In less than 48 hours, my mother was taken off the ventilator, transferred out of the Intensive Care Unit, sitting up on her own and communicating,” Kulbacki said in a court affidavit.

But after her mother was transferred to another hospital wing away from the ICU, doctors in that unit refused to give her any more doses of the drug, and her condition quickly declined, the family said in court papers.

“We were astounded when they refused to give her any more doses,” Michael Smentkiewicz said. “That’s why I called Ralph Lorigo and we took the hospital to court.”

"But the judge also told us verbally that Judith’s family doctor would have to write a prescription for Ivermectin, which he did,” Lorigo said. “In 46 years as an attorney, I’ve never seen another case where a family had to get a court order to continue a treatment that had already been started by a hospital.”

As mentioned in previous posts and by previous posters, the NIH as of Jan 14 has revised its previous "not recommended position of Ivermectin.

The FLCCC posted this press release on Jan 15. The following is from the press release:

“By no longer recommending against ivermectin use, doctors should feel more open in prescribing ivermectin as another therapeutic option for the treatment of COVID-19. This may clear its path towards FDA emergency use approval. “
“ Ivermectin is one of the world’s safest, cheapest and most widely available drugs,” noted Dr. Kory, President of the FLCCC Alliance. “The studies we presented to the NIH revealed high levels of statistical significance showing large magnitude benefit in transmission rates, need for hospitalization, and death.”

“What’s more, the totality of trials data supporting ivermectin is without precedent.” In its ivermectin recommendations update, the NIH also indicated they will continue to review additional trials as they are released. “We are encouraged that the NIH has moved off of its August 27 recommendation against the use of ivermectin for COVID-19,” continued Kory.”

“That recommendation was made just as the numerous compelling studies for ivermectin were starting to roll in. New studies are still coming in, and as they are received and reviewed, it is our hope that the NIH’s recommendation for the use of ivermectin will be the strongest recommendation for its use as possible.”

I reiterate... if your health care provider is reluctant to prescribe Ivermectin especially in patients in which there is little hope... challenge them to go to the FLCCC website and read the information.

Hopefully, you will not need to resort to obtaining a court order as did this brave and resourceful family. Kudos to them for saving their mom's life.

Unfortunately, despite the recent NIH change in its previous stance, Ivermectin is being treated as a "controlled substance" in South Africa.

"South African Authorities Raid Hospital in Search of #Ivermectin:
South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (#SAHPRA) apparently isn’t going soft on compassionate use scenarios involving Ivermectin."
"As TrialSite reported, the authorities in this country recently criminalized the importation of the drug, even for hospitals or physicians seeking to treat ill COVID-19 patients."

"Apparently, the authorities are treating the commonly used antiparasitic drug as a controlled substance raiding a private Durban hospital that apparently had brought ivermectin into the country for purposes of prescriptions. A criminal case was opened after police and SAHPRA officials raided the facility known as Ahmed Al-Kadi recently after a tipster led them to the hospital. Unlike many other African nations where the drug is approved for both humans and animals, this isn’t the case in South #Africa."

This is even more perplexing given the concern over the new strain (501Y.V2 strain) seen recently in South Africa. It's almost like they are trying to make this worse.

"A study by South African scientists into the new coronavirus variant driving a resurgence of cases in the country raises concern about the efficacy of vaccines and a new class of therapies."


"Half the blood samples taken from a small group of people to have recovered from Covid-19 didn’t have the antibodies needed to protect against the 501Y.V2 strain identified last month, according to the paper by South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases. In the other half, antibody levels were reduced and the risk of re-infection couldn’t be determined, according to the institute."
