Friend of friend died from Covid but..

Yup so many stories like this unfortunately, dying with covid and because of covid are two completely different things.

My understanding was that they kept her on ventilator while she had bacterial pneumonia. Covid came first, then bacterial lung infection basically. Bet it happens a lot.

The ventilator kills people all the time healthy or not.

If you are on a ventilator you are in deep shit to begin with.

Even on a heart bypass operation they pull you off of that ventilator ASAP! As soon as the anesthesia wears off and you are stable they yank that tube as quickly as possible and get you breathing and up and walking around a bit shortly thereafter.
