yep, I saw lobster and prawns in the frozen section as a seafood pack for 20 dollars.

The wine market became crazy here, as I watched the stone fruit trees that were decades old and gave the most huge and delish fruits all get buldozed to the plie and replaced with wine grapes.

I saw our table grapes, like lady fingers which I have not seen about scince that day of the buldozers for wine grapes.

they grew so much wine grapes they filled the vats with wine, and still had a harvest to pick, so much greed into the new wine market they forced themselves into problems.

I grew up in a fruit and grape area in Australia. Mudgee. and it was a crime to see all our heirloom varieties get wiped out for greed.

Now the best they could do would be to remake the market. If I was a wine maker I would make wines for cooking, reduce my wines to the chef market so they dont have to reduce the wine in cooking, I would sell mini bottles of the same wine ready for the cooking pans. pop the cork, add to tast, all done and ready for fine dinning chefs or home cooks.

decent leadership that wasn't interested in fulfilling their own inner demons would have made better decisions....for the collective resources of the people of this country...

They did this with maragaret river in wa too, denuded ancient underground land water so some slob could slurp on fermented grape....that was minute seconds old in comparison...

I am conflicted on this point simply because the contamination of their cows is not good in powder form for their kids....

The Asian countries get the biggest lobsters sold to them under contract (it's all brokered), and the rest of us get crappy little ones.

When I was a little girl we used to dine on a pier in New Hampshire and a lobster would cover half the table! Now it's all sold overseas to the highest bidder.

I used to like watching lobster men fish but now I hate them as they sold out to Asia first before us in the USA.
