Nashville’s 34 Percent Property Tax Increase Earns Tennessee Pork of the Year Award December 9, 2020 Chris Butler Nashville’s 34 percent property tax increase is the “Pork of the Year,” according to the Beacon Center of Tennessee’s annual Pork Report, which the organization released Tuesday. Staff at the Beacon Center of Tennessee say that their annual Tennessee Pork Report reveals millions of dollars in government waste, fraud, and abuse. Aren't democrats wonderful. I sold my house in Nashville for a very nice profit and bought a house with property in the green belt in the country, reducing my property tax by over 80% in the process. And that was before he 34% increase. No regrets. Nashville is going to collapse financially and no one is going to be there for a “bailout.” It’s debt is double the entire state of Tennessee.

I live a few minutes outside of it - and my wife being a health nutso, asked me to take her to a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s - I don’t remember which. When we arrived, the line to get inside was wrapped around the parking lot 3 or 4 times. Easily over an hour wait. Everyone was masked up and all males were very clearly skinny Jean wearing betas. Even my wife was uninterested in waiting in line that long, so we passed. As I pulled out of the parking lot, behold - a 5.11 tactical brick and mortar store directly next door to the hippy mart. I went inside and the proprietor and myself proceeded to talk politics for an hour and make fun of liberals. All in downtown Nashville. I love the dichotomy of America in downtown areas of major cities. You can always find people that hate liberals with a passion and it’s very comforting. I spent a bunch of money with him and went home.
