Update:It appears that Utah had readings over 1000 cpm which is about 10 times my base readings in Oklahoma... [ link to www.gmcmap.com] Quoting: DuckNCover Thank you for the link! Bookmarked!  WHen I lived in Salt Lake Valley. My machine (not a geiger counter), would constantly say I had radiation sickness. Utah has a ton of Radon. Over 50% of houses are affected. Can that be the cause of your readings? Radon dissipates quickly and would not effect my readings. My Geiger Counter does not pick up Radon... The Hot snow is probably from Fukushima water in the Pacific. It evaporates and clouds are formed. Then you get storm clouds that are radioactive. These particle fall out in the form of contaminated rain or snow depending on the temperature... So if this is an accurate description of the way Fukushima radiation spreads naturally, then we should all save room in our Prayers for calm seas in the entire Pacific Ocean. Common sense tells me that calm conditions would allow the radioactive heavy elements to sunk to the bottom where they will eventually be contained by other materials piling on top of them.
