Pssst. Radiation accumulates in the human body. Even small doses are harmful over time. All detectors pick up background radiation. There is no way to discriminate between background radiation and other sources.
All storms will increase background radiation, because the water picks up radioactive dust particles in the air and concentrates them when they fall on the ground.
The levels you are mentioning are still orders of magnitude below danger levels.
