Remember the Organic Gardening magazine folks were testing quinoa and amaranth for widescale propagation. It took 25 years or so longer until someone bred a low elevation quinoa! I only recall the magazines. Jwwish business family...no gardens...Yes, my son is the youngest his sister turns 26 in June. NA would be a heck of a lot better with less corn and wheat growing anyhow. A large amount of the soy and corn are grown to fatten cattle which is kind of dumb!

I'm happy with my purchases today. We made a trip to Walmart to get a few things. I managed to get 2 shirts, a whisk, & a set of measuring spoons for less than $4!

I finally got my chicken parmesan. I decided to fry the chicken, but it stuck something terrible so we got half the coating. I don't know what I did wrong.

The chicken was marinated in Mrs Dash Lime Garlic overnight, Mr pounded the breasts out. I coated them with panko bread crumbs & basil, oregano, parsley & garlic powder. Maybe I should've dredged it in egg first? I don't know, but it tastes good!

I sprinkled mozzarella & provolone shreds on top. Leftover hamburger buns were magically transformed into garlic bread.

Yummy looking sandwich! Now, I'm going to have my hot roast beef sandwich on my mind. It would be a nice break from all this chicken. I think my next chicken dinner will be fried rice.

Lol...wash in water, dust with white flour, dip in egg then drench in panko! All good no matter anyhow really. No need for formalities at home! It's all for show then we all sit on the toilet in the morning anyhow!

I dip my zucchini that way when I fry it. I don't know why I didn't think of it. Yeah, we don't give a crap what it looks like as long as it tastes good!

We had Entenmann's marble loaf cake with strawberries, well Mr had berries, I just had the glaze with whip cream. I took a pretty pic so you could see it. Then I piled on the whip cream!

We're trying to break up with desserts, but we got a bunch of strawberries last week. We had shortcake Sunday at my son's, but still had some left.

I don't need to eat yeast bread, but I will listen to them.

My son in TX lost his apartment due to water damage from that cold snap so he is looking for a place he can have our dog.

I made this drink that reminds me of 1980s Orange Julius. The ingredients are orange juice, juice of one fresh lemon, and a scoop of collagen peptides. Mix together and drink. It’s really pretty good.

Rs and I ate too much greek and brought some home along with fresh booze. << THAT, so much for reversing old age with a 5 mile bike ride everyday.

This is apparently what happens when you add too warm of a water mixture to the dough for cinnamon rolls. At least that is what my pastry chef friend told me a I did wrong.

On 5 grain Italian sub rolls with mozzarella & provolone. Yum!!

That looks soooo good! I love cheese!

That looks delicious! I haven't made bread in ages. My hands can't take it anymore. My next appliance needs to be for bread!

I made that dough in a Ninja Professional Food Processor. It took like 2 minutes from start to finish, kneading and all.


I have arthritis in my hands, so I need the help of a machine. It's about $85 w/tax, and it does a lot more than make, harhar, freaking bread dough....PERFECTLY!

I've only had this thing two days, and I'm full on in love with it!....

My sammich was too good to post, it had no chance.

I left my bread full size vs. cutting one bread slice in half as my recent sammich pics depicted, added thin sliced corned beef, swiss cheese, and mustard.

And then Mrs. gave me three strips of bacon as she had cooked extra for me while fixing her meal so I put them in with the corned beef and it was an amazing taste and texture. A definite repeat performance is called for.

Everyone's meals look incredible today which was both blessed and wonderful for me.

I was on an international Teams video call yesterday and had previously spoken a few times with an engineer in India on the phone.

Today he called my cell phone unexpected just to tell me he felt joy every time he was speaking with me, that he went home each day happy, when he usually goes home sad. He sounded so happy I cried after we said goodbye.

I was only being myself.

And everywhere I went today left everyone I spoke with laughing, smiling, and wishing me well when I left.

Today God was smiling at me, and it was contagious!
