Re: Food with Attitude!
I'm back and am glad to see ALL of my friends.

Para, please call me if it is convenient for you Sunday.

You and you family matter and I miss you.

Here is Saturday's meal. Since I am working from home and can get no walking exercise I am forced to starve myself to one meal every day or two.

Tomorrow will be Drinking Buddy's corned beef and Dilly Beans; I already ate the cookies--they were award winning thumbs I'll have real food tomorrow!

Hashbrown taters with onions, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, and three strips bacon.

So happy I was able to talk with you this afternoon & clear the air, so to speak. It was nice to speak with your wife as well!

Of to my son's house for brats and mac & cheese. happy dinner everyone!

That looks delicious!

We had the usual end of week fried rice (I hate to waste food and littlest is gluten free so we eat a lot of rice) At the end of the week, I cut up the veggies that are left in the veggie drawer, add garlic, a few eggs scrambled and chopped, and the leftover rice. Pour over soy sauce and sesame oil and voila! We also had some chicken kebabs with leftover teriyaki marinade, inspired by Simple this week!
Thanks!

Yes, I definitely hurt less. So I had a breakfast yesterday and dinner tonight. Not the corned beef though, I want to wait a bit, I cooked something for both of us here tonight. I have to try.

So good to see you Louis! I hope you're taking good care of yourself and know that many people have been missing you.

Thank you. I would have been taking better care this week but was very busy. I am calling an orthopaedic surgeon this week for an appointment. I can't wait until my court case is completed, the pain is too great.

I just walked twenty feet to see the studio Mrs. has built in a large room of our house; she has been moving it from the a separate building's garage office into our home. She asked I help her move a Masonic table her Grandmother's brother handcrafted [its stunning] and it was easy to move with her.

Then I turned to walk the twenty feet and up three steps into the den and couldn't--I had to crawl back to my recliner.

That's it. I need to be fixed or die, I choose seeing a doc to be fixed.

I was certain you had replaced your laptop hard drive when it was failing--I forgot you replaced your laptop with another one and got a new Internet provider that gave you the same user ID as a forum troll that has persisted for years.

BBQ Boy that looks incredible!

I've got real British malt vinegar to use on my next heart attack French Fry day.

Drinking Buddy I use jasmine rice and include oyster sauce in addition, otherwise everything goes!

I'm looking forward to a real hunger day to have the corned beef with the Dilly beans

I'm a few episodes in. It's not bad, but not as good as I've heard. Or maybe, I'm just far enough along like BBQ Boy said. It's not my usual kind of show, but it's something new to watch. I always have something going in the background. I hate quiet!

BBQ's fried chicken last night inspired me to try again at my chicken parmesan. I still had some sauce in the fridge from last week that needed eating. This time, I floured, egg & milk dip, then panko with my spices. It stuck! rockon

I even marinated it for a few hours in olive oil, red wine vinegar, & basil, oregano, parsley, & garlic powder. The spices stayed when I floured & with the oil, it wasn't dry at all. I made angel hair pasta.

Nothing for dinner here. I had a nice breakfast yesterday.

I'll have a lunch or dinner tomorrow.

Diabetics have little need to eat, if they say they do they are lying or not taking their medication properly.

I eat as infrequently as possible, so for me one meal every two days.

And it sucks--I want to eat a monster sub or entire pizza every day.

But like a coke addict, I can't or I may spiral into food addiction.

I have an Indian friend at work who wore knee-high leather boots and would always want half of my hamburger or a bowl of my beef chili. [Behind COVID we have not worked together for over a year.]

I asked her 'Isn't that against your beliefs?'

She replied "No, we are normal when we are here, we only do that when we go home to visit our parents."
