Food with Attitude!

Good morning foodies

No idea of what to prepare for a meal, I last had breakfast two days ago.

And I'm not even hungry.

Find a good shuffle video, work out some hip shit, and then eat like a hog. If I had a choice...it would be 2 egg in a holes with sausage smothered in white gravy ( we don't do that here so I want some)...maybe decent fried peppers alongside!

That sounds so good! I've no idea what we're having for dinner yet.

We're waiting to see if the truck will be done by 5:00. Mr is so antsy to get out of the house!

I broke down and had an egg, cheese, and sausage burrito thing around noon.

Mrs. wanted a 225 lbs. table moved from her office in a second building on our property to the new studio she is setting up in our home. She never would ask me to help her move it all day despite my asking her when we would move it.

Couldn't take it anymore and I finally yelled "Can't you get a clue? Go to the damned, store I'll move it."

She left and I texted her the picture of it in her new studio location before she drove the three miles to the store.

When she got home I told her to never challenge me in that way again.

Jeez--some people truly have no freaking clue!!!

Like all the ones who say they love you because of who you are, and have remained constant in yourself, and then want to add a flourish or nuance to an already old and beaten soul. WHo doesn't want external change.

That table never once touched the cement in the fifty foot trip to our home.

I may have a useless knee and hip but that doesn't mean I do not know how to use an object's mass against itself.

While it did hurt a little, it was no different than the time twenty-five years ago when she was calling a contractor to move a six person 1,000 lbs. hot tub forty feet across the yard at our previous home.

She came outside to tell me when they would arrive and noticed the hot tub was in her desired location.

Ladies, please never challenge your man as if he were unable to do something. He will kill himself to do it if necessary behind such an insult that goes to the core of a man's self worth--the ability to both provide for and do whatever task must be done for his loved ones.

Real men are kind, yet firm, and do not give up.

Ever.

And the legs are now beneath the table and I could jump up and down upon if I were able.

She may now finish her studio.

Amen...can you lock the door to the studio now? Build in a feeding slot or something? I dunno. You might have to empty the chamber pot...but merde...it is just merde.

Lance I have not laughed so hard in many years.

Mr is the same way. He knows he shouldn't be lifting, yet he still does.

We borrowed our daughter's car so we could get out for a it & go out to the store. He said if I wouldn't take him to the park, he would pee on the furniture.

We stopped and got seafood on the way home. I got my usual scallops while he got scallops, shrimp, clams & oysters with baked potatoes, coleslaw, & apple sauce. I love it when they put out coupons. It's a ton of food for $35!!

She is crying in her studio now, having seen it and saying it is exactly as she needed it along with a thank you a hundred times over.

She's still repeating "Oh my God I have needed this for so long."

I said to her she just needs to have a little faith in me; this says it all...

I would pee on the furniture too! !

She is this year encouraged enough to turn our yard into a stunning park as was for years until I was injured.

And she knows I will make it beautiful, even if I must crawl to do it.

Our lawn guy cut the grass for the first time in months today, and cut all downed tree limbs up and put them on the burn pile without her asking him and his crew.

We're again after a few years on our way to a beautiful yard.

I always liked him. This is my favorite.

Mrs. said she bought his album for that song.

You're right, only a few belong here, and you're one of them. It's the other billion that are wasted flesh.

Good morning pool and all of our group.

Coffee's made, Resident Alien is on the TV, I'm run some tasks I prefer to manually run vs. schedule, have no idea what I may or most likely not have for a meal today.

Pool, I'm not sore. Thank you for caring last evening. Sometimes we must push ourselves, not to prove anything for others, rather for preservation of our sense of self-value.

Mrs. is so happy, she's still awake making some stunning chainmail designs.

I am not posting a pic of our dinner last night. I had to work late and littlest decided to make it and while normally she is a pretty decent cook, last night was not one of those nights. But I didn't die. lol

And compared to a lot of people, we are lucky to have food, even poorly prepared food.

Tonite is beans and rice for a crowd as apparently there is a school project happening and I have to work late so the magic of the rice cooker it is.

Edit to add hours later: Despite the studio relocation this week, especially the work table move last night, I went to the grocery and did not use the gimp cart for the first time in a few months.

I walked the store as one should.

I'm not sure I should own up to this being from the first eight-track tape I owned.
