This is bad.

It's 12:30 AM US EST and I need to awaken for work in five hours, fifteen minutes.

I'm hungry and want to make a crispy chicken sammich. Which means I need to turn on the stove or oven.

I'm doomed, it's too late for any normal person to eat.

Arggghhhhhhhhhhhh. Oh well off to sleep it is for me. G'night all.

Maybe just have a small snack? It's hard to go to sleep when you're hungry.

My membership ends tomorrow.

I don't want an upgrade atm. I can easily pay month by month, just need to work on things here without too much distraction currently.

I am content to see where the rest of the summer leads me, financially or otherwise.

Will re-up in a month or two.

I have a few green to hand out before I go.

Thank you all for the inspiration, research and heart you all put into your comments and threads.

Thanks.

That means a lot.

My dog just had another episode a few hours ago.....Not as bad as the first, but equally concerning..... after it....

I took him for a ride in the truck up the county road.

Cracked the window so he could inhale the surroundings.

Saw a rabbit in the road that went into the brush and let him out to sniff.

Then we proceeded up the road again.

On the way back saw another rabbit. Let him out to sniff.

This time he caught the scent and went down the incline to investigate with child like vigor.

I called him back, because I really didn't want him catching the rabbit.......just wanted him to experience some freedom to roam.

He cooperated, but I heard a yelp and saw that he had went down again, but not as bad as the first two times. He was still alert.

He came up the small incline and I helped him into the truck.....before he just hopped in himself, but that small 2 min range must have wore him out.

He is almost 13......I expected this, but nothing can really prepare someone for it.

My parents......are not spring chickens either.........I know one day their time will come too...........sooner than I would like. bricks

I know how important your best friend is to you.

I may be a sixty year old man, but I still tear up when I think of my cat that was more like a person than a kitteh.

He could unlock the screen door and let himself and the other cats out, would turn off the room light switch if you turned the lights on and he was trying to sleep, and he was deaf and you could communicate with him telepathically. If we wanted him to come home we just had to think we wanted him back and he would come running from the woods.
 Quoting: Louis in Richmond

I've had a lot of pets, but only 3 that were super special that way, well including Butters.

I had a tuxedo kitty masked Sylvester before I met Mr. I'm not sure I would have made it through my life at home without him. Then in my 20s, I had a dog named Gooey who followed me everywhere.

He also is actually much more chill than the female dogs...

Good morning everyone.

What sounded like a good breakfast last night doesn't sound as attractive today.

Oh well, I'm having my coffee and will eventually fix a breakfast or lunch.

Good morning. Yep, I'm sick of booze and spending already. Why can't my freaking state government progress past alkyhol. The party of tonight has decided to bring jammies, so I'm heading to the store for hams and clams, to provide a saucy pasta dinner...then in the morning I leave for an out of town party, so balloons for that drinking road trip, then Saturday night another bigger dinner party. dead I spent 30 minutes cracking 8.8 ice for tonight. The water in my town isn't potable.

I KNOW I'm not the only one throwing back this weekind...bring on the comparables, GLP!!

His project today is to paint the lava lamp base black. It came with pink & white zebra stripes. That's not exactly our style.rockon

Yesterday was a terribly sad day here. I work from home on Wednesdays and as I was working I kept getting news alerts on my phone about a 'violent' head on crash in the town over. My daughter was home when the alerts first started coming in, but had left a while later to go to the store.

While she was out another alert came in that there was 1 fatality at the scene. A man had robbed a 7-11 and was fleeing from the police. He turned the wrong way down a very busy two lane road and was going 85 mph when he hit another car head on. The suspect survived with non-life threatening injuries, but the person he hit died at the scene.

Shortly after that alert came in, my daughter came through the door crying her eyes out. It was one of her lifelong good friends who was hit. A very sweet girl who used to sleep over all the time when they were little. She was going to be a nurse. :(

We went to the candlelight vigil at the beach last night. Absolutely heartbreaking.
