pool, I too have lucid dreams. Any that I remember are so incredibly realistic. They're in color, I can smell things, I can feel things (like being touched), often times they involve people I know irl, but sometimes not. My dreams are a trip. They are so realistic that they make me question my reality at times.
 Quoting: Simple27

Can you hear things too?

I know it's not a dream if I can see, hear, and illuminate the darkness, yet have no sense of touch.

If I can feel, it is a dream or memory.

Edit to add: the illumination is golden if I am interacting with others souls.

It is as blue as Kalika if I am battling a demonic entity or a discarnate entity of malintent.

Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country,
don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.

Yes, I hear things just like real life. See things as if they were real life. I've had quite a variety of lucid dreams. And just very detailed, realistic dreams.

I've had doom dreams of tsunamis and meteors that were extremely detailed. Emotions were very real. I've had several dreams of my grandfather who I lost last April because of damn covid. I've had many happy dreams (most are happy dreams). And I've had some really strange, far out dreams. They're fun most of the time. Sometimes they're sad and I can wake up crying (this happens rarely but did happen after my grandfather's death). Sometimes they're even sexual and I can literally feel everything. Kind of weird lol.

But yeah, my dreams are quite an experience most times.

Sometimes I think dreams are a form of us visiting ourselves in another world. An alternate timeline or something. I feel like my dreams sometimes provide answers to unanswered questions I hold deep in my soul.

Have you ever seen the movie Another Earth?

Excellent movie. It's deep, and everyone will have their own perspective at the end. It's one you have to pay attention to. Can't be GLP'ing while watching it. ;)

hi Pool.

I think I shall make crispy chicken, country gravy to pour over it and veggies with a 'tater on the side.

Honestly I'm in a dilemma--too many choices having shopped this week.

I'm not sure what to cook. 'Probably be afternoon by the time I decide.

Good morning all hi

'Looks good BBQ Boy. thumbs

Wasn't pleasantville the one with black and white people but two became color? That's probably not the point of the story, but it's what I remember.

My food search is narrowed considerably after again seeing Bastetcat's awesome dinner spread.

I did buy grilled Perdue chicken, have croutons, lettuce, a wedge of parmesan cheese, spicy garlic pepper rings in olive oil, and GMO-free, no preservative Caesar and ranch dressings.

So my meal forecast is transmogrifying into a salad that requires almost no work. I actually would prefer a chicken bacon ranch salad and I did buy Wright bacon during that same shopping trip, maybe I'll have a bacon salad today!

Good morning, pool and friends!

Bastetcat, I remember when you bought those weird Pringles last year! Lol. Love your stories!

Simple, my dreams are intense. Some are Stephen King level of terrifying. Some are like vivid memories....no, more like vivid reality, with details that rival watching a movie but it's like I'm in it. Some are so detailed (like a Spanish church I dreamed about when I was little....I can still see the tiles and white stone or stucco walls....and yet I had never seen it in real life or in a picture). My husband never dreams. I think he's a robot.

How do I post a picture in here? You know, in case I ever cook anything. lmao

For 'insta-post' you can upload an image or video to [link to imgur.com (secure)] then as below copy the link and place it between imgur tags without the period in front [.imgur]<your pic's link goes here>[./imgur] and immediately have it on the site.

Alternatively, you can use the "Custom Smilies" link in the left menu and upload the image to GLP. I have 500 saved on the GLP server, that's how you embed without the imgur frame around it, like this pic here.

I've moved my circus and my monkeys outside to the glass table, Mrs. brought me an outlet strip. Now to find a three-pin extension cord [as my laptop only needed two] so I can set about updating a PC and find the chipset driver for some retired CISCO wireless Network cards I got at surplus, no need to wire everything.

They have like a half-mile range and were from a golf course where the clubhouse was a quarter mile away so I rescued them from the landfill or more likely a doomed existence living in India providing outsourced offshore helpdesk connectivity to some fella living in a sewer in Kerala.
