Thank you S27. I am hungry but nauseous, so am afraid to eat and am wearing a path in the floor to the bathroom behind constant diarrhea.

I did eat some ice cream last night and I believe chili soup the day before.

I have been sick two weeks now and do not have a fever which leads me to believe my body is not fighting off whatever I have succumbed to. And yet with no fever I feel I am 'freezing' despite the den being 76 F.

My doctor's note from Saturday's PCR test excuses me from work until I have a negative test result back. I hope I'm not ill like this for two months, I'll exhaust all of my leave time. At this time I cannot work as I can't 'think straight' and fall asleep for ten to twenty minutes at a time without realizing it.

I'm worried.

Mrs. bought me a sirloin steak and sour cream so I may make Beef Stroganoff but neither my heart or stomach are in it tonight.

I'm so sorry you feel so terrible. I really hope you feel better soon.

I did read your posts the other day in the prayer thread. I think I read that your covid test and pneumonia test were negative, but you are awaiting blood results? Did you have a second covid test?

Yes. I had a rapid antigen COVID test which was negative.

My doc said his NPA had two negative tests despite being so ill she missed two months of work. Her third PCR test showed positive for COVID.

I had two nasal swabs done Saturday for influenza and COVID and was given a prescription for Azithromycin to combat my congestion.

Now I'm waiting on the results of the two PCR tests.

I feel guilty behind work and see my coworkers are having a difficult time resolving server errors; something I can repair in minutes have them stumped for hours trying to determine the problems and perform its resolution.

Guilt is heavily upon me for not being available to resolve issues despite my feeling I am not safe to do my job. I hate leaving my work to others.

Prayers for negative results!

Don't feel guilty about needing to take some time off. You have to try to rest as much as possible right now. I know you have a very strong work ethic, so I understand that this is hard for you, but right now it's more than okay to put YOU first. Please take good care. <3

I'm rather convinced I had Covid last Christmas when I was so sick. No test so not for sure. I never had a fever. I was so tired I could barely drag myself to the bathroom. I would fall asleep sitting up.

Thank you Dave for the info.

This is the weirdest illness I have ever had.

Yes, sweating, itching like crazy, yet no fever, and my blood glucose almost unmanageably low.

Mrs. bought orange juice and mixed nuts with no peanuts for me and thank God they have enough salt on them.

Serious lightning outside my home tonight. 'D*mn near crapped my pants a minute ago when it struck nearby. The last time this happened it killed a satellite receiver and a 50" Samsung Smart TV.

Thank you Para and S27.

Yes I am falling asleep sitting up or perhaps passing out.

I am reading the forum or watching something on TV one moment and the next thing I know it is an hour later and I have no memory of even sleeping.

This is most frustrating.

I have marked myself as out sick yet another day at work, so I may sleep as long as needed tomorrow morning.

Fraught with guilt, yet as S27 wrote; guilt--free.

Pretty shit meal. May as well have just drank a bottle of oil.

Dont ask about the garlic bread. It wernt a proper ciabatta.

Expensive. Just added lamb oil to pasta. Then all the olive oil made. Then the tomatoes and cheese. Kind of made it like a drink.

The Lamb meal before. With potatoes were much nicer. You would probably need to make a yorkshire pudding though ( where as I can buy some ) You might need to bake potatoes then warm again after yorkshire pudding is made. As you cant keep opening door and even though potatoes are baked. Its better when they are baked but softened anyway. Thats if you need a yorkshire pudding. I just decided to add a yorksire pudding but might not be your kind of meal anyway.

You might like a lamb mince ragu. Its as easy as a taglitelle alla bolognese but you use Percorino cheese instead of parmesan. More garlic. Mint. Some recipes add broad beans.

[link to www.theguardian.com (secure)]

The parsley spagetti is also nice. If you make a pizza and salad.

This is the correct way to make a simple bolognese. I just add some rosemary to onion/carrot/celery and still add some garlic.

I will make soon as its good to have these meals made but will make the lamb version first.

I guess its just nice with the herby pasta.
