Good morning all.

I'm feeling more than half crippled after a five hour shopping trip, yet I didn't even get to half the stores I wished to shop.

Not sure what breakfast or perhaps lunch will be.

It's a very cold 28 F outside with nothing falling at this time.

They are calling for 2 to 5 inches here.

It's coming down steadily and the temp has dropped to 24 F.

The Wx report reads it will all turn to rain and be gone by evening.

I don't believe it.

My backyard now...

Darn straight I'm gonna get 'em moving again.

I've a much smaller area to mow, despite so much more land, so I'll be able to get what was my weekly five mile 'therapy walking' at the old home going again here.

If I can get the WX station panel working that my cat knocked off-line when he had a spas attack, and knocked it across the room, I'll get it back online and add a WX link to my signature.

Good idea. 'Need to figure out what dinner will be. I was leaning toward a sammich and some type of pasta salad.

Mrs. spent $20 and bought five pasta salads, and then put the bag they were in on the kitchen floor when she got home with the groceries.

We found them the next day, unchilled, and forgotten on the floor twelve hours after I asked her if there was anything in the bags that needs in the 'fridge or freezer and she replied no. I put them in the 'fridge but just now today they are swollen and all spoiled as there are no preservatives in the ones we buy.

She also killed $100 dollars worth of frozen items she left out forgotten after I asked if I needed to put any items up.

So far only breakfast Saturday morning.

Dinner yesterday was a stupid fight because she likes to make my life hell. I made the mistake of texting her, politely asking she please move a one pound package of Italian sausage from the freezer to the 'fridge so I could include it in a cooked manicotti and cheese dish for dinner.

Five hours later I came home and said I'd be starting the dinner and asked where the thawed sausage was.

Her reply was that there is already thawed breakfast sausage in the 'fridge and she wouldn't eat it in manicotti.

I completely lost it and she got every bit of anger I have suppressed towards her constant disregard of whatever I ask for months--I told her I asked she thaw Italian Sausage and that only an idiot would think I wanted to put breakfast links in an Italian dinner.

Eventually she finally left the room in tears, thank God. Sadly she came back to it today.

I refuse to cook her any meals until she pulls her head out of her ass and stops being such an inconsiderate person as this is a multiple times weekly thing, I give simple instructions and she deliberately won't follow them even if I write them.

She won't be getting any cooking from me and is on her own for meals; I will only purchase food I like without regard of her. It's what she wants or she would not be deliberately dismissive, her taking the attitude of "F*ck that, it's something he wants, so I will do not do it or will do something entirely unrelated to what he asked."

Since I'm paying the bills and she has no income, she'll now need to learn to eat corned beef on pumpernickel and Asian food, her preferences are no longer a consideration to me from her choices by her actions.

She said she'll starve.

I replied "Yes, you will."

I have no ideas how to motivate her to not be selfish and to be considerate of others. All I can do is make her life miserable if she is not.

Pretty snow!

We converted scraps to soft tacos for lunch after finding all the fixing in their 4th year of expiration. LOL Mexican food is always better after the expiration date. Then went to cut the pop-up cilantro in the back patio cracks. Split a beer, perfect cold day lunch. More people have been exposed to covid this week. Am being supportive for new widow cuntry woman. It ain't easy for her, I remember.

Everyone stay healthy. Please!

Thank you.

She won't learn however. Hence my decision to make anything good in her life here, including meals she likes, and her truck payment, all dependent upon her not being selfish and inconsiderate. Or her screwing up with the frozen and refrigerated foods which she now does regularly.

It is not accidental, it is deliberate confrontation she craves and she'll not find it here, only being ignored from now on.

She has a three foot pile of dirty dishes in each side of the kitchen sink to give her an excuse for not cooking a meal.

They are all going into a large trash bag on the floor. 'Not too concerned about gentleness as they go in either.

I need to wash a skillet, pan and lid, and some utensils so I may cook a dinner for myself.

Something I will enjoy.

Other people would have left her or kicked her out by now.

Make what you want for dinner. If she asks for some, I would just tell her that hers is in the bag she left on the floor.

Or play her game - tell her you'll make it later. But later never comes.

Thank you for your kindness, and understanding of the frustration this causes.

Since she started washing dishes I was able to set the clothes washer and dryer in place and connect the dryer power and vent instead.

I still need to connect the water to both of them and affix the washer drain line to the drain so it doesn't jump out and flood the kitchen when a drain cycle runs. There were rubber hoses connected to the water connections I removed as they are supposed to be stainless steel, and I brought the metal hoses I have with the appliances.

Raining here with ice presently.

the gingerbread I deliberately underbaked because I like it soft...I had them with some cream cheese that I sweetened with confectioners' sugar (not pictured)

the pizza was put-together using buffalo mozzarella that was one day past the expiration; a pre-made crust and some sauce in a jar--I actually made two since there were two crusts in the package and froze the other....

No COVID, and she took Ivermectin when I was ill with something, never fevered, or loss of smell or taste.

I think this is just how she is.

Even seventeen years ago when we moved to our previous house, she was bringing things to the home with her brother in a truck and I had a lawn mower at the home we were moving from that I was using for parts.

All I needed was the handle and pull rope from it and they were the last two parts I needed, and I asked she bring it.

So she did not bring it on the trip I was expecting it and on her next trip which was to the dump she had her brother throw it in the trash.

Those are not accidents, she does it to confound me and to frustrate me.

I mentioned that my hubs decided it was okay to let the cat out while I was work and I had no idea what caused it to get sick with kidney failure....he's terribly sorry that it happened now...tbh that's only the tip of the iceberg of what I have dealt with over the years....

He's dependent on me now and I have done my utmost to forgive the things he's done through the years....I am not perfect by any means but I stuck with him (I guess because I am the product of a divorce--and I was not going to do that to our daughter)...

there's so much more I could write but I don't want to dredge up the past...so here's two pictures I meant to post last week...

the gingerbread I deliberately underbaked because I like it soft...I had them with some cream cheese that I sweetened with confectioners' sugar (not pictured)

the pizza was put-together using buffalo mozzarella that was one day past the expiration; a pre-made crust and some sauce in a jar--I actually made two since there were two crusts in the package and froze the other....

Glad you're getting settled in....

I appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers, Louis (on prayer thread)

hope you two can work things out...

I am getting settled in. You were not harsh at all. It is what it is.

I'll cook a dinner and will share pics but really don't care if she will eat it. My patience is at an end. Making this better is up to her.

Until she does I will ignore her and go behind her for every single task she does, making sure she sees that I do and if she asks, explaining that I must do it because she cannot be depended upon to do anything correctly.

'Not cruel, just the truth since my tolerance of her abuse has run out.

Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country,
don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.

Re: Food with Attitude!
As planned.

Manicotti, Italian sausage, spaghetti sauce, Ricotta, Parmesan, and Provolone cheeses. Garlic buttered Italian bread, and salad with ranch dressing, but only because she threw away my bottle of Italian dressing because she doesn't use it and it took up space in the 'fridge.

I can't make this stuff up and am unequipped to deal with it.
