We went to a local Italian restaurant for our birthdays. My SIL birthday is 3 days after ours, so for 3 birthdays combined. It's a rare treat for us to eat out now.

I got breaded mushrooms (best in town) and garlic bread. Mr got a sausage sub and a gyro. I tried to get it the whole table in a few pics.

Thanks, it's technically not till the 20th, but we do dinners while SIL is on his week off.

Tomorrow, I'm baking a pork roast to take over. I'm even going to make a cake this year. Last year was tough, but I made it!

Yes, it seems now that my, um, 'issues' are fading into obscurity and pointlessness that 'back to the kitchen' is on the table again. The energy driving lack of desire, and even at times, confusion, is nothing but the hearing of my heart, beat, to sour whispers. So snatching myself away from the illusionary grip of the 'wanna-make-you-mad' creature is a blessing. Not quite sure the cottage pie for tomorrow will be as nice a photo!
