The only liver that I can stand is Liverwurst on a sandwich.
Just gave away the liver from the beef that we butchered to a friend.
I have never tried cod liver, so no comment on that one.

I can totally get down with this. That looks delicious! I love pate with pork fatty tissue, that's the best! It does look easy to make so adding the liver makes pate liverwurst. Interesting! I don't if I could ever make it since I don't have a meat grinder. I'm looking for a thing to squeeze potatoes into little slivers for ghochhi.
