Wash them and let them soak over night
Cook for like 3-4 hours
Put jalapeños in it

I discovered you don't have to soak beans overnight. Just cook 'em, it works...  You will digest the beans much better if you soak them over night. They will not give you gas if they were soaked first before cooking them.
