I'm just glad I got air into the tanks before this cold weather hit or they could freeze as my main water tank is outside; I have the coldest cold water to drink in the winter! Having both ham for breakfast Saturday and a BLT for dinner I've no need to eat today. Yet I could, I still have power, it's still 72 F in the house, the cats are depressed because they won't go outside and 177,643 homes are without power around me. I have been very blessed during this storm. So glad you have power! I imagine it would get cold in the house pretty quick. I don't blame the cats for not going out! I made the cornbread with chia seeds instead of an egg to be different. It gives it a nice crunch. Tomorrow, our kids are taking us to the Brazilian steakhouse in Jax for our birthdays! It's expensive, but what a treat! They bring roasts to your table and carve what you want. I always eat mostly filet. They have everything though, lamb, chicken, sausages. LIVIN' HIGH ON THE HOG! In any event we are proving we can eat well on a shoestring budget and share our recipes and their photos here for others to use in cooking. I'm not nearly as good at sharing pictures as the others though. Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

Something larger, like a dove pressed down the snow drifts to eat the bread...so they are not alone.
