Oh that made me remember about twenty five years ago I had a date with a friend for dinner and movie and?

She worked at the grocer and I was buying Italian sausage with my other groceries when the bagger dropped it [it was wrapped so it was fine].

And then she said "Don't man-handle his meat, we have a date Friday! Be gentle with it!"

I thought it was rather funny at the time.

For dinner....later 4-5 hours. I don't feel so bad about my crappy pics now that I've seen some images from 'mars'...or wherever they are from. My images are a Rembrant compared to NASA's grainy polaroids.

That looks like something I would enjoy making.

There is only one guarantee in my home regarding cooking--If I have cooked it and I like it Mrs. absolutely refuses to eat it and if she tries she says its disgusting.

Sadly she likes living like that and it is quite painful to be exposed to knowing no meal you cook regardless of the time taken, even if hours will ever be tried by her.

She makes me hate my life.

Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country,
don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.

Para your meals look wonderful.

I'm going to try to take a little time and fix a breakfast for myself before I'll be on two multiple hours long service calls with MS and another vendor today.

I need to go find a good cut in my freezer to make corned....venison?

I hope everyone is well today. We have 3 inches of beautiful new powder and working drains (shout out to Lance there-many thanks for your help) so I am happy. I have to head out in a bit for work, but will listen for the snowplow so I can follow it off the hill.

I would not be able to do your job Louis. I turn mean and nasty on the phone after about the third prompt...before I even get to the real person, poor thing. I've no patience.

I do try really hard to be polite, but I do stupid awkward things like ask the person with the Indian accent if their name really is Jorge or Tom or Michelle? and what part of India they live in and what is their favorite thing their mom cooks.

Just lovely! I should dig my sourdough culture out from the back of the fridge and see if I can wake it up or if I have truly murdered it this time. It's from 1984 so a tough bugger.

That soup looks lovely and so does your dinner last night. We are unfortunately having take out pizza because I promised pizza and movie night tonite. I believe 'The Forbidden Kingdom' is playing. I do admit a fondness for Jackie Chan so that will be fun!

And of course, Simple's choccy vodka milkshake
winky

Hope you are feeling better Simple!

And Para, if I ever decide to go on a vacay and we meet for dinner..well, I'm hoping you cook!

I do too!!! Now our office network forwards all calls to my cell phone since I work at home and if I don't expect or recognize the call I let it go to voicemail and they just get a message to call the helpdesk for assistance. 1rof1

If my office building was actually being used, I would be getting lessons in how to insult telemarketers in Hindi from our developers!

My job is Network Engineering and Administration for the gov so I do need to deal with highly placed and ridiculously paid idiots at times. Sadly I'm the guy our department refers all 'difficult' people or cross-discipline tasks to because I can be an even better politician than Engineer if need be. Not that 'that' is a good thing.

My tonight will likely be occupied working with a MS Engineer to resolve an issue in a server OS and I can't take it down during US business hours. They have a guy in Costa Rica that I get along with well and hopefully the issue I have will go to him, but I suspect it will go to a lower level support before they escalate it.

Edit to add: I had a hilarious support call with an MS Engineer who called me from his home at what was 9 PM my time for a few nights work. We were both on speaker and one of our cats meowed so between our times of talking with each other our cats were meowing at each other.

That looks great! I am a waffleholic.
But one meal a day means I have to choose breakfast lunch OR dinner and I would say breakfast is the one left off the most.

And real maple syrup is a must here.

Those eggs are perfect! My daughter won't eat them if there is one bit of crispy brown edge on the whites.

I learned how to make nice eggs early on as that's what I could cook myself when I was little. I don't care for them brown either, but I would eat them. tounge

We rarely eat breakfast so we have it for dinner. I just drizzled a little syrup on for a pretty pic, but I had some in bowl that each bite was dipped in!

Thank you for posting that Para, Lance it looks great.

Lance sent me a pic to post a week or two ago and I was too drunk to figure out how to work imgur.

Speaking of Imgur, it says I haved 224 pictures uploaded but when I select "All" I only see about 60 pictures.

The ones I want to post I can't find?!?!?!

don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.

Re: Food with Attitude!
I am new to imgur as well as barely computer literate...sorry Louis.
And Lance, that looks delicious and keto friendly!
I am gathering my wits with the help of a second cup of coffee and about to head out between bands of snow.

Hope everyone has an awesome day!
