Oh crap! I think my dog just had a stroke or a heart attack! I was walking up to the main house with him and he just keeled over, groaned and stopped breathing! I walked over too him and pounded on his rib cage. He was like a rag doll.... After about 20 seconds, he sat up, real weak and looked at me like what the hell happened? I asked him if he wanted some food......he stumbled down the steps after me and followed me inside. I gave him his food and he kinda panted with a sheepish grin....and then began eating. He is 12 years old.... I don't think he has much time left.  Oh no!!! I'm glad your K9 CPR worked! It freaked me out..... I know he doesn't have much time left. The last few nights, he has been making weird noises in his sleep. I will miss him when he is gone.... Best dog I have ever had the pleasure to call company.  awww, so hard to say goodbye. Are you in the heat wave? Keeping him as cool as possible may help. Wetting his foot pads with cool water while laying in front of a fan is really helpful. I have a super old guy too.
