...It freaked me out..... I know he doesn't have much time left. The last few nights, he has been making weird noises in his sleep. I will miss him when he is gone.... Best dog I have ever had the pleasure to call company.  Quoting: Osmium76 awww, so hard to say goodbye. Are you in the heat wave? Keeping him as cool as possible may help. Wetting his foot pads with cool water while laying in front of a fan is really helpful. I have a super old guy too.  No, it's only like 65 degree out today. He just suddenly keeled over, groaned and stopped breathing! :RI-ROO: Never seen anything like it. ohmygoodness! He's adorable!  He is a catahoula cur, Australian Shepard mix. He was given to me as a gift by some long time family friends. I didn't even want him......but.....he has turned out to be the best friend I ever had in a pet. He is very loyal.
