...It freaked me out..... I know he doesn't have much time left. The last few nights, he has been making weird noises in his sleep. I will miss him when he is gone.... Best dog I have ever had the pleasure to call company.  Quoting: Osmium76 awww, so hard to say goodbye. Are you in the heat wave? Keeping him as cool as possible may help. Wetting his foot pads with cool water while laying in front of a fan is really helpful. I have a super old guy too.  No, it's only like 65 degree out today. He just suddenly keeled over, groaned and stopped breathing! :RI-ROO: Never seen anything like it. Oh, that sounds awful. All you can do it spend time with him & enjoy it. Pets really do make the best friends. He is doing fine at the moment. I will cherish every moment. My son arrived home shortly after it happened and I made sure to get pics of them together after telling him. He loves my son almost more than he loves me!
