I did, it sort of freaked me into a thought-stillness, bc as a kid I imagined my life as pooh/poo corner. Literally both, poo and pooh.

lmao YOUR version is much nicer. hf

Aww thank you hugs

I seem to have an odd habit of hearing what people aren't saying and feeling the thoughts and emotions inside of them.

That literally was what stopped me from going to malls and theatres decades ago.

I can relate, Louis. More now than ever.

So last night it was stormy here, so I didn't want to go out...hungry for both Chik-fil-A and Chinese food, lol....
What you get when you combine those cravings, lol...

I put the wrappings in the photo to show what I used.
I don't usually buy Perdue organic cuts (they were a buy one/get one at Publix) I had frozen the package...I heated that first and then added the frozen veggies and equal amounts of the two sauces--well maybe a bit more Polynesian as the Chik-fil-A sauce is a bit mustardy...the noodles are a staple for me as they only take 5 minutes to cook in the microwave and I saved the beef sauce packet for another dish on another day....

eta photo, lol
Also, I have been meaning to mention that I have used the last third of some weird Pringles flavors that I bought at the beginning of this pandemic--crushing them up and using them for chicken coating---better than just throwing them out...I really like the BBQ Pringles used that way....

So I thought I'd share...

So sad to hear about the loss of the baby....

Really missing Virginia this week....for years between 2004 to about 2010 my daughter and I would set out on I 95 and go up to Virginia Beach/Chesapeake, etc., to visit my dad and my stepmom and a few childhood friends before heading up the Eastern Shore to the Cape Lewes-Cape May ferry to the Garden State Pkwy where we would make multiple stops...usually picking up hubs in the Atlantic City airport before heading north to visit his brothers and sister in different towns along the parkway...always stopping in Wildwood and Seaside Heights...those were happy times..."Watch the Tram car, please!" the boardwalk food was always so good in the fresh ocean air...sausage and peppers, cheesesteak, curley fries, we would walk along and buy one of stuff and share it, for the most part..but watch out for the seagulls! they were really aggressive--one once stole an ice cream cone from me!

Really appreciating this thread!

SN, that's one of my favorite songs--thanks for sharing!

Hubs often asks me to pull these up on the ipad to watch the boardwalks--

There are multiple views, but our favorite is the one that has the Hot Spot in the description--we used to stop there alot

Louis, you may remember Ocean View Amusement Park in Norfolk--I was very young when we used to go and was so sad when it got torn down...

One last story--

We always would play a few of the games--toss the rings on the milk bottle--I actually landed one on the gold bottle one year...I won a bicycle--daughter was esctatic---we were pushing it down the boardwalk and hubby decided it was too big to take back to FL so he sold it to the first guy who said to us, "you won that?" for $25...I was kind of annoyed at first, I was so proud of my achievement (and daughter pitched an 8 year old fit for a few minutes, but we bribed her with the promise of a trip to American Girl dollstore in the city--hubs regretted that one, lol!)but I knew he was right--there was no way we could have schlepped it back to FL...
