Re: Food with Attitude!
So here I am on a Saturday night running vinegar through two AeroGardens and swatching a new watercolor paint set. And drinking wine, of course (it's 9pm here, don't judge me lol).

Vinegar stinks, but the paint colors are gorgeous! Pool, what is that blue color you mentioned the other day? It was so pretty. This paint set has a lot of nice blues.

Sounds very relaxing. :)

And no judgement from me. It's only 3:30pm here and I just made a drink lol! I love Saturdays. wink

Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country,
don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy.

Lol, you guys are so funny. Yesterday was my birthday, so I figured a relaxing AeroGarden / watercolor / wine party was in order. :)

Louis, I had that exact sink in a prior apartment. I didn't pass out in it like the kitteh in the picture, though. (As far as you know.)

Para, I like blue, too. How can you not love the color of the sky and ocean? Hot pink is my signature color, however. Good luck with your chores. Vinegar IS a great cleaner! And I recently discovered the magic (no, not that kind of magic) of citric acid....works like vinegar but doesn't stink! I was told by a right proper Brit that shepherd's pie is made with lamb, and cottage pie is made with beef. I don't know what you call it when it's pork....

I think I'm going to attempt this tonight. My daughter gets out of work at 6:00, so I'm going to be cooking. We have some asparagus that needs to get cooked so we'll have that on the side even though it doesn't exactly mesh well lol.

I had 1 8-track as well, for my crap little player at the cottage. I didn't grow up with music at home, but did at the cottage.

ANd in my fathers purple Lincoln Continental (CB handle purple pimp mobile) he only had Jim Croce (best of) and Gordon Lightfoot (best of). And growing up playing AAA hockey, we were on the road alot! We never listened to the radio. Hence I can spend an entire night listening to one song, over and over again and find it comforting!

ANyhow schnitzel, fresh corn on the cob and some sort of salad tonight. My son's here prior to embarking on a self-exploration quest in the Kootenay's for 3-4 months. SO he is cooking for Fathers Day tonight, because we have uber coupons for manyana.

I grew up listening to Gordon Lightfoot. My eighth grade history teacher used to sing in class "...how the legend lived on and ship sank, and the fish ate all the bodies!" when the song came out.

He was rather funny.

I learned physics from a former operation paperclip physicist; the man was a genius with a sense of humor as 'off' as mine is, I actually often think of him when I write an acerbic reply to someone.

I believe he and a Baptist minister were the two greatest influences in my life.

LOL, thank you! I had a raccoon in Newport, RI, that came around every night for a handout. I would give him a piece of bread or whatever. He would politely take it and go about his business, but I knew I couldn't leave the door or window open or he would come inside.
