A very satisfying stoner snack has just been consumed.

Good wheat bread, toasted and spread heavily with crunchy peanut butter...and a heavy-handed application of jam, jelly, or preserves.

I realize tonight that there has been a distinct lack of PB&J in my life in recent years. This must change.

Happy Father's day to all of you.

Such great foodie pics!

Lance, no one in my life here appreciates the planning and work required to have every item hot and ready at the same time. Mrs. does not understand the concept, which frustrates me.

There is a park near my home.

The county had a 'Juneteenth event' there yesterday with fireworks in the evening.

10,000 people there [I just pulled that number out of...] all on their cell phones so my Internet was s - l - o - w [my Internet is via a cellular router], it could take two minutes for a GLP page to load, while oddly Mrs. still could have 4K UHD video play on the TV from YouTube. scratching

I got a working network driver for the wireless board I put in and got a number of updates installed and removed Office 2016.

I gave up on the Internet as the updates that installed last night took over five hours, and web browsing was an effort in futility.

I'm chillin' in the den, gonna go turn that PC on outside, and work on it from my laptop here in the den, it needs Office 365 installed, then I can lather, rinse, repeat next weekend as I have another PC to turn up and use as local backup for the files on our phones, laptops, etc.

So I plan on spending my day quietly, a little buzzed, a little drunk, and very achy from the walking to and from the backyard table yesterday.

Mrs. bought a huge steak she said she will cook for us [for me!] today, though she was awake all night burning a huge pile of wood debris she has gathered up from around the yard so I suspect she'll sleep through dinner time.

Dang! I am slow today, I just noticed the time, I believe I started writing this before 9:00 AM.

Para - what brand washer? Where many of the Maytag / Whirlpool / Kenmore begin leaking is at the bearing beneath the wash tub. They can be replaced, if that is the issue.

If the washer needs replaced, there's always the Habitat for Humanity Restore where I buy used appliances, or if you're lucky a Sears Service Center / Factory Outlet where I bought our washer for close to $700 less than retail because it had a one-inch dent near the floor on the side that goes against the wall, may be near you.

Good morning everyone.

Here is an update on my dog.

This crap is freaky and depressing... I been trying to help him, hoping he will recover, caught him yesterday when he started to fall and layed him down. heh.

He might have a few more years in him yet though..... still waiting to see if he improves. It looks promising, but only time will tell.

I believe he has Old Dog Vestibular Disease.

Has all of the signs mentioned in the video below. I have been tending to him as recommended in this and other videos. He suffers at night while trying to sleep with harsh breathing, so I have been medicating him. Hoping his heart isn't bad.

Still won't touch his dog food, but will eat other things I feed him, raw eggs, milk, medicated cheese, processed meat. and will go outside on his own reluctantly after some coaxing. Wags his tail a bit or tries. Takes water with some coaxing.

He falls over on his side like a fainting goat, then can't stand back up sometimes for long periods of time mostly after exertion from running up a hill or climbing stairs.

Here is the vid... that describes what is going on with him.

I have been to darn tired to care much for cooking this past week and barely recall what I ate otherwise lol.

I think a few nights ago I stuffed my face with a salmon salad sandwich....or was it tuna? :idk:

Louis, I think it's an Admiral which looks like it's made by Whirlpool. I'm not sure that's something wed be able to fix ourselves. There is a repair place in town. We can call them & see what they say. Sometimes they have used ones for sale, too.

We checked our local Habitat for Humanity. It was nothing but junk! We both looked at each other & knew we both heard this song in our heads. chuckle

Maybe. I just did another load. The floor was completely dry. When it drained the wash water, it looked to me like the water was bubbling up form the drain in the floor rather than from under the machine. It was hard to tell before I busted out some of the tile covering the drain.

I'm going to buy some drain opener & try pouring it down the drain in the floor. maybe I should pour some down the drain where the washer hose goes, too?

I figure it's always good to try cheapest thing first!

Our local guys have been around a long time. I think they are pretty honest. I just hate to call because I know there is a fee just to come out.

I called them once years ago for a washer. Turned pout the washer wasn't repairable, but I had to pay the service call which was like $75? That's a lot of money for a "Sorry, I can't help you."
