Sounds like OTHR (29B6 sigidwiki has an article) being received with autonotch enabled, has a sci-fi sound. The interference is inadvertent, the radar goes where propagation is best.

Reminder to use USB (upper sideband) for HFGCS (not AM), also autonotch is to get rid of annoying solid tones.

I thought we entered the Twilight Zone.

Thanks. I just realized the autonotch was causing this. Without it, it's just the standard buzzing. Doom off.
