(Final Update status on P.31) I'm not sure if I should even ask this favor, it seems so frivolous compared to all the trouble everyone has these days. I'm just going to put it out there and anyone that is so inclined, I would appreciate just a little prayer. I know this is kind of silly, sorry for that, but it's my worry. Quoting: Texan Buckeye I mailed my grandbabies their Christmas just before I found out about the post office backups. I would have kept them until it cleared if I'd have known how bad it really is. They are supposed to be delivered on Monday, but all I care is that they get them before Christmas or even just after. We haven't seen any of them for exactly a year and they're growing SO quickly. It's funny, I mailed the clothes and winter gear out early and they have that. It's the fun stuff that might get held up. They're little enough that it's a big deal to them. So, if y'all have a sec, send a kind thought or a little prayer. Please? It's not frivolous at all, TB. Your post brought a tear to my eye. I know how much you miss them. Prayers that their presents arrive on time, and that you all have a wonderful Christmas! Thanks, gf. I know it's kind of silly. We miss them so much, we're actually talking about a road trip. I doubt if we will, but it's to that point. I miss those little arms! They give the very best hugs! Even the flying hugs! LOL |

That said, when we were kids, the coolest gifts were those that arrived AFTER Christmas by several days, just about the time the newness of the gifts opened on that big 25th day had worn off. To get a "late" gift a few days late was always a treat. If so then let me be the last one Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78837949 I would like to buy some old times board games for my kids. They are very active, I am glad they don't adore computer games like others. They remind me my own childhood! Maybe because I love playing with them? Who knows who is more lucky, me or them :) If there are any chances then thanks brother! Cheers! paypal.me/SHarrison986 Thank you my friend! I can't even describe how proud I am to be part of this. And so cool that you are all still playing those old board games. Being 60 myself, I can really relate to what you said. Check your PayPal and Merry Christmas brother, to you and your family! Due to such limited space, board games are not possible with my family, so, we play card games often. It's either a regular deck of cards or, my favorite, the Monopoly card game. Otherwise, we'll plat a dice game called Farkle with a pad of paper and six mismatched dice. For years, I was an A/C then finally registered on 2009. For me, GLP is a place I enjoy and is a place of family & friends. Without GLP, I'd rarely have any place to go online. It is a place to find news before it it news, too! There have been times where I'd report an earthquake here in Oklahoma before it broke anywhere else, in one case, while the earthquake was still occurring! GLP is the best place on the internet today! God Bless All & have a very Merry Christmas in the Light of Jesus!
