What material are the boxes being made out of?

They didn't specifically say, but I was thinking it was some hard plastic.

Not metal, not wood.

...For Humans!

But why squatting, standing, & laying?

Why not all just standing/laying if it's just for storage of people?

If the end result is death, why bother with the different sizes?

I don't think they want to KILL people with these things... They joked with her about needing someone to "test them out" to see how long someone can last in one...

I know someone who trianed with commandos here ( pls no references to that shit in recent news)- some of their training involved confinement, being transported in non ventilated shipping containers to undisclosed locations, sensory deprivation, auditory harrasment, mock abductions, being held as mock prisoner, sleep deprivation, being stripped, being interrogated during and after all of the above.

So I can see how those boxes could be used in special ops training.

Re: What could these boxes be used for?
So I had a chat with a coworker that chatted with our vendor that specializes in storage, in person, today.

He starts to spill beans about a government project they won a bid for.

She comes and tells me afterwards, so this is all 3rd hand info - full disclosure.

The vendor was asked to design a “People box” to be used for testing with Special Ops forces at Fort Bragg.

She asked “You mean a coffin?” Vendor laughed and said “No, not quite.”

But then he started describing the requirements of these... boxes.

- They were to hold a human within
- Sizes were made for: Squat, Stand, Laying down
- Tight, restrictive, occupant unable to move head, hands, legs, feet
- No outside air ventilation
- But must include air system to vacate inside air from toxic fumes caused by potential urine, poop, vomit, basically anything the occupant may expel while enclosed for long durations
- No tubes, whole unit must be water resistant for pressure washing
- No holes in sides so occupant cannot press lips to inside and breathe outside air
- To be used for training exercises on-base as a trial, scope of project may expand to many bases

We tried to imagine what they could be used for, she said she asked Vendor and he said he couldn’t talk about it, of course.

So I thought, hey... who else would know more about this than our GLP family?

What could these boxes be used for?
hmm

"Many" was the quantity we were given.

With it being so close and tight, they have to have different size boxes for a 5'person and a 6'5" person.

She said, "How ya gonna do THAT?"

He said, "I told you... Lots of different sizes."
