It is just another way to fleece the wealth of people who have worked all their lives. Then they are forced to downsize into some cage and end up paying just as much before they raised property taxes. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79795730 Don't over 65 have cap? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75543000 United States 12/22/2020 04:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've been saying this for all of 2020. 1/4 of the economy is gone, 1/4 of all jobs gone. What are towns/cities going to do when 1/4 of payroll taxes disappear and commercial real estate taxes dry up. I said 2021 will be about how the tax base eroded. Its simple math, they have to pay for pensions and operations. |

Plus this was from 2018. As has been noted several times already. |

I just received in the mail my assessment and it's way lower than last year which means a lower tax bill. Everyone is receiving lower assessments!! Quoting: Wake Up Nope! Not around here. They did reassessment like they do every ten years and property taxes on a building I own went from around $1,200 up to almost $3,000. So an $1,800 increase. UGH!!!!!!!! |

The CCP going to establish a beachhead of those three states, and not even fire a shot... Damn you read my mind... That's exactly why... They are moving people out, so the ccp can swoop it up in min... Its so easy to see... THESE RULES ARE STARTING TO ANNOY ME! Acts 24:15 15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. 1 John 2:22 Who is the liar? Quoting: Uncle Gintel Sucks to not believe in science doesn't it? I believe it’s real my argument is science says it’s only killing the old sick and weak who don’t contribute or work. So why would we lock down business? He’ll spend the money increasing ICU if that’s what you’re worried about but it’s the same as every disease know to man old sick and weak dying like they do every day. Seeker 2 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79781632 United States 12/22/2020 06:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In Colorado, voters, allegedly just voted in favor of repealing something called the Gallagher Act. It kept residential property tax rates in check at the expense of higher property tax for commercial properties. Colorado has some of the lowest residential tax rates in country but not for much longer. Starting in 2022 they will begin to go up by magnitudes no one has ever seen before in Colorado. And there is no ceiling to stop it from going up indefinitely. Our unaffordable housing is about to become more unaffordable. Good job Democrats. |
