I sincerely doubt it in my rural county. They would cut city/county services first. You got to realize that everybody is broke and using less services like public school now. It makes no sense.

County fire runs are often taken care of by volunteer firemen and maybe a handful of ladies too. The way that works is good country folks send in an annual payment otherwise if they get a call to your property, they a charge a LARGE fee.
