Who has a coinbase account here

Paypal can do everything that coinbase can now and you won't have any trouble linking a bank account to your paypal account. So I suggest using paypal instead of coinbase.

I miss the old Poloniex with the chat box. I would routinely be crying with laughter at some of the gold that rolled through there. The trading was nice then, too.

I can't even get my account to activate to check it out. Can't figure it out. Need help. Will be watching this thread for advice.

CoinBase Sucks ! No customer support and a stupid id system that does not work. You have to send a pic of yourself and your ID and their computer tries to compare the two images but it usually fails and you have no recourse since there is no support. I tried to buy XRP at 17 cents but they would only let me put 100$ in my account because I was not validated and they only let you make tiny deposits without being validated ( due to their shitty Id system that does not work). Look for another fiat dealer, I would love to know a good one that accepts cash.

I was using Binance but they are no longer able to have US customers so I transferred to Coinbase. I also "have" an account at Cryptopia. They allegedly got hacked about two years ago and the NZ courts are still working on it.

If you just signed up for an account there is probably a waiting period 24 hrs or more before they will let you deposit. Didn’t use to be the case but likely is now. Also make sure you verify your email and set up 2FA USI G GOOGLE Authenticator. Sometimes they won’t let you put money in until you have at least two levels of security.
If that fails. Just try GEMINI. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AS COINBASE BUT LESS ISSUES WITH GOING DOWN. Constantly unlinking your bank account and have to reverify. Etc.

Also. Saying “people talking it up on here”. Is a grandly stupid statement. People talk everything up in crypto. Learn to do your OWN RESEARCH. Don’t count on what others say.

BINANCE US. is now an option for us customers but you can’t use their bank ach deposit withdraw options so the only way to fund it is to buy somewhere else and transfer it there. My guess is that COINBASE HAS SOME SORT OF MONOPOLY BC THEY ARE LOBBYING POLITICIANS. BIG SURPRISE

FCK COINBASE......if you don't control the keys to your bitcoin, then you don't have any bitcoin. get a Ledger.

I had a Coinbase acct where I lost my phone for 2FA. I have tried everything to get back into my account, and eventually gave up, losing my btc. I bought in back in 2013, so you know I got in at a low price. ($125 a coin)

Coinbase has my btc, and they are thieves.

Coinbase is the easiest to use and largest exchange out right now.

If you are having a problem using it, it's more than likely user error. It's as easy to navigate as gmail.

I keep most of my crypto on a ledger, but i keep some on coinbase for trading and keep some on mobile apps giving me interest.

This is the notice I got from Binance on 11/23. No mention of BinanceUS.
