Opinion: It's time to grow up patriots.

You guys are becoming the left in your whining and your hysterics. You claim that everything is tyranny. You whine about your rights being infringed. You are becoming everything that you claim to hate. Not everything is tyranny in motion. Not everything is about your rights and freedoms being stripped away.

If Costco wants to require you to wear a mask to enter, that's their prerogative as a business. Your counter to that is either to wear a mask, or shop elsewhere. Everything you can buy at Costco you can buy at a local farmer's market, local businesses or a roadside stand. Every place that requires a mask upon entry, is exercising their rights as a private business. You can't say that the Christian baker has a right to refuse to bake a cake, but Costco can't require a mask to enter.

This is not tyranny people. Tyranny is when the government is behind the movement to oppress and suppress you. Wearing a mask at Costco or choosing to shop elsewhere is not tyranny. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Amin, etc, that's fine examples of tyrannical leadership. You still have all the freedom and choice to shop there or not. You have the choice to farm, fish and hunt your own food. You have all the freedoms that do not befall a tyrannically ruled country.

Stop acting like your world has ended because you have to wear a mask if you want to visit certain places. Don't give me that "it's a foot in the door to tyranny" thing either, because it's not. Why? Because it's a private business exercising their rights as a business. We preach all the time that people have the right to choose how to run their businesses and we have the right to choose whether or not to consume said business.

When the NFL started kneeling, nobody yelled tyranny. We just stopped watching it. If you have to drive an extra 15 minutes for groceries, that's a choice you have to make. Stand on your morals, or cave to the corporate powers that be, but either way, stop claiming everything is tyranny.
