Don't be afraid of exercise

Esp after 40 it causes genetic pathways to activate associated with repair if cells and this greatly slows aging process

Weightlifting is good for above

Cardio will help by increasing blood flow remove some bad stuff strengthen heart

I knew a Doctor friend several years ago.
She did celation tharpay for many, many retired doo wop and r&R performers.

She had excellent results.

I might suggest for you,
Strauss Heart Drops, and Nattokinase.

Feel free to inquire if you want more info.

Never hurts to get the heavy metals out of the body with chelation. It removes some of the burdens that keep the body from healing.

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
Take this for what it's worth, it may not apply to you.

People will tell you that plaque in the arteries doesn't come from food. They will tell you it's an outdated idea, and that the FDA removed all their recommendations for low dietary cholesterol, etc.

I never had a cholesterol problem. Mine was like 206, 106 bad and 100 good - but I was young and it was going up.

My family members all have stents and such.

I developed an aversion to meat. Can't deal with meat. Can't smell it, chew it, prepare it, etc.

I already didn't eat bread (I'll explain below, may be related), with the 206 cholesterol, but I stopped eating meat too.

Still ate butter and cheese, a few eggs per week, etc. Also ate clams and oysters a couple times per month.

After a year of so of not eating any meat ... not vegan, just flesh-free ...

My bad cholesterol was at 60, my good was still at 100 and I have the cholesterol of a newborn baby.

*****************

I already didn't eat bread because my grandmother's guts literally rusted out from excessive iron, and I avoid iron fortified foods.

Years later I found out that I have one variant for haemochromatosis. I suspected that because when it happened to grandma I was sure that was the problem, but her doctors didn't speculate about the genetics of the 90 year old woman.

Excessive iron causes hardened arteries, dementia, liver disease, etc.

Some of us absorb iron 4 and 5 fold compared to others.

My dad - her son, had peripheral artery disease and I'm pretty sure it was excessive iron in the diet couples with the haemochromatosis gene that caused it.

So ... that might be something worth looking into, too.

Good luck hf

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
I had a friend do chelation therapy (IV) years ago. She had every imaginable heavy metal built up in her system. They even sent her to university hospitals to figure out HOW soooo many heavy metals...not just lead....never could figure it out. Like 15 years ago. She went for years. She’s still alive so I guess it cleared out most of the metal!

Hubs takes EDTA pill form for HBP and high cholesterol. Now has good numbersw. BP almost normal and cholesterol lowered.

Oh yeah, he’s also had double by-pass and 2 Stents ( before using the EDTA). Went for another stent after he’d started it, and by the time he had his appointment for the stent the dr looked thru his scope-thingy and comes out and tells me “There’s no reason for a stent. The blockage isn’t that bad,”

That was about 4 years ago and. No more problems since then.

We are definitely believers in EDTA now and almost have the heart Dr convinced!

Inspiring thread!

I've done the 30-minute drip of food grade hydrogen peroxide to clean up lungs, and it does! High Recommend! I think they are also calling this "fusions" now or something.

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
30% of people of european descent have one gene variant for haemochromatosis, but having 2 is rare.

Because of the prevalence of the mutation, it probably had a selection advantage. Some suspect it helped childbearing women absorb more iron from a grain based diet at the advent of farming.

If you google it, it's looking like that excessive iron is implicated in a lot of organ damage, even though the sufferer doesn't have classic haemochromatosis and high iron in the blood.

So that's 30% of us probably metabolize iron very differently than others and it builds up in our organs. In modern times, our grain is iron fortified.

The early adopters had a genetic adaptation, and they passed it on.

The two are clashing, IMO.

I’ve done both IV chelation and oral chelation. I didn’t have a heart condition but my father did so I was concerned about that. My heart scan calcium score was only a 1 before I did it, and my doc said that was good but the score never gets better. After some rounds of chelation it was 0.

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
Our alternative medicine doc offered chelation therapy. Most people took it for heavy metal poisoning. This was in New Orleans. If anyone is from the area, seafood off of the Louisiana coast - the more west, the better is okay but do not eat any caught off of the Mississippi Gulf coast because when the nation's sewer, aka, the Mississippi River drains into the Gulf, the water tends to go east towards the state of Mississippi.
This doc's dad who was also a doctor, was sent home to die of colon cancer back in the 70's. The dad knew Linus Pauling and his studies of Vitamin C. He began giving himself massive doses of iv Vitamin C. Within a few months, the cancer was gone. Dad was still practicing in the early 2000's. He has since retired but is alive and kicking 50 years after being told he had a few months to live.
Sadly, our doc was driven out of business by the medical establishment in NOLA.

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
After the beginning of the year I'm going to have a consultation with a PCP doctor that runs a clinic wherein they do chelation therapy.

If I can, I would like to get some personal experience stories and advice from others.

A client of mine has MS and I've been taking her to her chelation appointments. Some of the lesions on her brain have disappeared or are shrinking. She told me about a friend of hers who was sent home with hospice because his heart was too far gone. She said he did the therapy, and within a year his heart was very well.

The later story is what is peaking my interest, not that I'm anywhere close to end stage heart disease, but I have had a massive heart attack and a stent put it, with another artery at about 1/3 clogged.

I want to fix this, and if chelation will help, then I want to go for it. I already know my new insurance I'm starting with the new year is going to cover it, along with the implant for my knee....finally, I'm going to get that fixed up....cheer

And yes, I do know I need to speak with the doctor, too....so don't no one complain about me asking on here, okay? I'm just really curious and excited at the prospects of better health....flower

Please, what are your experiences with chelation?....hf

Wish I could get that done, especially after having a mouthful of mercury fillings. I had them all removed some time ago, but they were there for decades.

I've heard that there are foods and supplements that naturally chelate metals from the body:

Cilantro
Parsley
Chlorella
Garlic
Broccoli

Alpha-lipoic acid
Selenium
Modified citrus pectin
Taurine
Methionine

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
Evidence is not their for using Chelation therapy unless you have diagnosed heavy metal poisoning. The Chelation agents aren't something you want in your body unless you need them.

To be at your healthiest, east a healthy diet, very little processes sugar and chemicals, lots of fruits and veggies and less meat (so not what 97% of Americans eat). Get vigorous cardo exercise daily, walk or run a significant distance, and train carefully with tons of stretching and precise exercises.

Adjusting your lifestyle is very hard, going and getting an IV somewhere is very easy. I'm over 40 and and in better shape than 99% of 21 year olds. It was hard getting here but is easy to maintain. It is all mental.

Oh, limit booze and weed and stay away from all the bad drugs as well.

Believe it or not, non of my business

Majority with health concerns, especially the ones you described, from cigs to heart

All stems from your gallbladder and being clogged with gallstones, which hinder your liver. And how does the liver keep the blood clean, fat.

Dr Clark

Follow 48 hour directions

Light food soups, next day stop at 1201pm

And make sure you take the second dose of olive oil the next morning. Insurance flush.

Do not I repeat do not eat any fatty foods, you need to build up the bile

Use a flash light and look for neon green ( bile ) gallstones

Your skin will turn soft automatically. Then the insides start repair

i do the epsom salt/olive oil liver flush about every 6 months. It's fucken amazing. Makes you feel fucken amazing the next day and for weeks after. It's true about your skin, looks and feels great overnight. Usually lose 10-20 pounds and 2-4 inches ont he waist, and about half of that comes back in the next 1-2 months because a lot of that is water.

definitely recommend. all you need is epsom salt and olive oil. i drink it straight now, and i like it.

the olive oil is challenging to get down, but it is SO good for you

anonstoner

P.S. Spirulina is one of the only oral chelatives, they give it to people in massive doses for heavy metal poisoning, totally safe and a spuerrfood

Ugh some smart women still out there. Where were all these women 10-15 years ago. Dam I should have been more patient.

Takes discipline to do this. Fasting prepared me.

yes it seems the best schedule is every six months.

I believe the liver is the heart of the body.

Of course people’s will not believe until they have Green Lantern Pebbles coming out.

Just makes sense for all the health problems.

I couldn't even tell my client was sick. She had the rosiest cheeks, and she is 70 yoa! She is very happy with the ongoing outcome from doing it!

blink....I've even dared to wonder if it could help my degenerative disc disease to not be so cranky. The spinal surgeon started to tell me last week I need to quit working, and I told him I wasn't even ready to discuss that yet....although I think I know it's coming soon.

Heh, I'm also wondering if it in any way might help me to quit smoking, if even it's like a booster or something. It's been impossible for me to quit, more stressful than its worth, methinks....but I do need to quit. I've got to find some way.

Chantix?...nope, tried it, messed up my head too much. Cold Turkey I've tried a couple of times....boy howdy, but that was really bad....hiding

sigh...at least I'm smoking organic cigs now. At least I'm not getting all those 162 chemicals they put in regular cigs.
 Quoting: cosmicgypsy

I don't know about chelation, but I DO know about quitting smoking. I was a hard core chain smoker for 25 years. Never in a millions years thought it would be possible for me to quit. Here's how I did it 6 years ago and never ever want to see another cigarette again to this day. I took Nortryptaline anti-depressants(you need an RX) for a couple months, and read Alan Carr's Guide to Quitting Smoking. I quit cold turkey. Day 3 was the hardest. I was throwing up from the nicotine withdrawal, but I knew I would never go back. The Nortryptaline gave me the extra willpower to get through it. I took it for at least the first year. I used sunflower seeds and Twizzlers to keep my hands and mouth busy. On the one year anniversary I almost gave in. I had a weird day where I was craving cigarettes. I didn't have a lot of them at all. I'm so glad I didn't give in. I got through it and still don't smoke. You can do it!!!

Re: Has anyone done IV Chelation therapy?
Chelation therapy is done by IV for about three and one half hours. If it's done in less time, there's something that is not right. Look into it. Chelation therapy also gets rid of LDL, the bad cholesterol. Something you could take in place of IV chelation to get rid of LDL is bergamot. It's taken by mouth, a pill, is a lot cheaper than IV treatments ($135-$190 per session), but gets rave reviews for taking LDL out of your body. You'll be astounded at how good it is. You won't be sorry you took the time to look into it.

Don't wait to see if it helps you quit smoking. You need to quit first. There is no point in doing the therapy if you're going to just go home and put everything back in. There are heavy metals in cigarettes. You can do it! I've seen enough people quit to know it's possible when you're actually ready.

Cilantro is what and possibly all you need. This is proven science. Put cilantro in everything you cook and eat. A few days after you start this find a lab that will test your urine for toxic heavy metals. Please post your results here. Buy organic Cilantro... it is very inexpensive!!!
You can also buy Cilantro Extract at the Health Food Store.
I personally know for a fact this works because I cleared my Children of Lead Poisoning after their irresponsible mother allowed them to become contaminated. I only used Cilantro.

There's one down side.

Chelation therapy binds everything, even essential minerals.

If you do chelation therapy make sure you take a good quality multimineral supplement afterwards.
