Shit I escaped from the crime infested city 20 years ago and moved to a small quiet place that felt safe and had a good quality of life,low cost of living etc.

Now this place is gone to hell, all built up, traffic where there was never any before, crazy homeless drug addicts everywhere, sirens, car alarms, boom cars, everything I moved here to get away from.

Getting more serious about moving, don't think I can handle another summer here.

A long time ago, I read an article that said all demographic shifts are deliberately engineered to manipulate real estate prices.

The big money makes money on the way down and on the way up.

They disrupt populations by moving people around and installing new groups, causing the original group to relocate.

This is how they get price instability and how they make their money.

I lived through what looked like an example of this so nothing would surprise me.

That article could have been on \/Dare, haven't read there for a long time but I used to and I probably saw it there, but I could never find it again when I looked for it years later.
