The humanitarian charity has said they intend to deliver another 1,000 hot meals to truckers tonight and are also asking for items including juice, biscuits and Christmas treats to boost the drivers' spirits.

Their appeal comes amid complaints of poor living conditions at the camp, where toilets were branded 'not a pretty sight' and many drivers have been unable to shower for more than two days.

I doubt two days is a long time for most of them.

Crazy times! Wtf?! So the cities shut their doors and all these truck drivers are stuck with the possibility of catching covid in these crappy camps with porta restrooms in between the cities and their homes? Who ordered this? Somebody certainly sucks at planning lockdowns. The police and cities are damned lucky they have not gone total anarchy yet.

Thank God for the Sikh community and all those citizens helping them because our world governments are showing us every where they have no fucks to give their citizens right now. Its beyond world revolution time.

I live about 10 miles from the truck queues, don't believe the hype. They aren't happy but theirs no humanitarian crisis, trucks are moving.
