Senate Republicans Refuse $2000 Stimulus Check

The House starts the bill, votes & sends it to the Senate.

They vote or rewrite and hash it out with the house.

Then Vote and send it to the President.

He can pass or veto or line item remove stuff and then pass it.

There is further recourse if the House or Senate get grumpy about that.
But that rarely get used.

All that is called checks and balances.

With the way this government has been working out over the past 20 years I am all for this. Let it crash and burn and hope that something better takes it's place.

There are only two choices for managing the population in a process that cannot be stopped - soften the blow, pass out the money, a soft landing and elimination - or go the GOP route, pull the entire rug out, every man for himself, and the bullets fly - and with such a move, the GOP and their faction will be the first to be exterminated as the desperate masses - hungry and raging - overcome and enact old fashioned justice on those deemed to have fucked them. If anyone thinks these GOP senators and congressmen have the kind of security that can save them, think again. The hands are reaching for the holsters right now as they throw people into the maelstrom.

Sorry, the title says Senate Republicans. Still, it IS the GOP and it will go against them. You can't have a giant pork bill giving money to foreign countries and illegal aliens and $600 to Americans you've locked up for most of a year.

Scrap the unemployment and give everyone $3,000 to $5,000 to hold over until the vaccine has been distributed to the working class. If someone says that isn't enough then too bad. I've been living off of less with reduced wages and no unemployment with a measly one time $1,200 check...so can everyone else.
