Are Movies made for Memories which aren't our own

I'd say they're more made for memories that are yours but you forgot.

But it's ok, because the forgetting is part of the movie.

Think about covid - where does anyone get the idea that masks, distancing, fear of others and testing are needed?

HOW do people think these things are normal?

All the virus, pandemic, zombie movies. The images have formed your "memories" of what is "normal".

Movies are made for 1 to 3 of the following reasons:

- Money
- Propaganda
- Magic (making a thought an image -> making an image real)
