This is blasphemy. Christ said he had power to lay down his life AND take it up again (John 10:18). He conquered death--he was not defeated by it. He paid the penalty for the sins of his people, which is death. Then he overcame that, and appeared many times to many people, including the 500+ crowd. It was not his goal to convince the world of who He is. It was his goal to rescue his people from their sins (Matt 1:21).

The apostle Paul didn't record the words of Jesus. He wasn't even around until Stephen.
The promises of resurrection were in the Gospels; Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John.
And of course, Isaiah, who said "wounded for our transgressions", not "eternally damned.
Jesus obeyed the Father, man disobeys constantly.
If He and the Father are in accord, as the gospels clearly outline, with the resurrection and redeeming promise, saying otherwise is clearly calling God a liar. Now you have a problem in which you must discard the entire New Testament.

The first 3 gospels were amazing, but I had a very hard time with the book of John. It seemed whitewashed. And because of that I don’t fully trust anything in the New Testament. All of it was Roman manipulation IMO.

Or was it Jesus's goal to show all, not just his people, a different way to live that aligns with love, peace, harmony, and maturity?

Are we really born sinners? If that is so, what does it mean when "the temple of God is within us"?

How do we advance spiritually when we always expect someone higher to shoulder all the consequences of our poor choices?

Would it not be better to take full responsibility for our poor choices, learn from our mistakes, and not repeat them because we now know better?

Jesus taught us higher wisdom so we could grow up spiritually with greater understanding and maturity, just like him. Jesus was a walking example of what an evolving human would be like when we become more kind, more benevolent, more understanding, and more respectful to one another.

No judgement on those who have not yet understand or accept Jesus's teachings. Those that have were once that have not.

Blessed are anyone from all paths who seek the love of God. The path to God is wide open to all.

Love will always be inclusive, never exclusive.

Exclusivity implies separation and superiority, both of which do not exist in pure unconditional love that is God.

How could he die for your sins if you were not born yet? This is weird logic.

He died and is burning in hell for us. The sinners who were already in hell were freed when he died.

If one man's sins makes him deserving of eternal hell, and if Jesus took on that man's sins, then it follows that Jesus had to spend eternity in hell to suffer for that man's sin. And then there are the billions of others whose sins Jesus allegedly took on.

Ridiculous. It's pretty disgusting to even think Jesus took on the sins of all the murderers, rapists, child abusers, human traffickers etc.

Luckily, the mainstream christian teaching that Jesus took on everyone's sins is false. what happened was this: Jesus never took on anyone's sins. It's not possible to. He simply preached the word of God, escaped death and was raised up alive to return in the future.
