Also, the connection of "fear and safety" has biblical implications, for those who are followers and/or believers. You could even extrapolate "sudden destruction" to what is happening in the world right now - economic collapse and the inability of religious people and institutions to gather... interesting when looking from a different/broader perspective. I am not a believer or follower, but there are many prophecies in the world, and far more outside that book than within it.
